French village team tries to buy Messi
March 10th, 2011 by James Barnes
Cedric Enjolras has been suspended for six months after trying to sign Barcelona megastar Lionel Messi to play for his village team.
FC Borne, a team who play in the second division of the Haute-Loire district league and represent a village of just 400 people, submitted the plan to the French Football Federation and asked for it to be passed to Barca.
After two hearings, the FFF decided to suspend Enjolras, disappointing him with their lack of a sense of humour.
Barcelona tickets are available now.
