England delay Mike Tindall decision
March 14th, 2011 by James Barnes
England have decided to delay any official announcement on the availability of captain Mike Tindall until tomorrow (Tuesday).
Tindall, captaining England in the absence of Lewis Moody, injured his ankle during Sunday’s 22-16 victory over Scotland and was replaced at half-time.
England will be desperate for Tindall to be available to guide the team through Saturday’s vital match against Ireland, where a win would seal the Grand Slam.
If Tindall is ruled out of the Dublin clash, Nick Easter looks to be the likely candidate to take over the captaincy.
Ireland v England tickets are available now.
