Muse to release new album next year

Muse have revealed that they will release a new album next year, and that it could sound a lot different to the band’s previous releases.
Speaking to NME, drummer Dominic Howard said, “Matt showed me a few chords recently. Who knows, it might be softer rock, but then it’s up to me and Chris to make it heavy again. A heavy rock lullaby! But I’m sure it will move forward in some way.”
Bassist Chris Wolstenholme revealed that the group would begin work after this year’s Reading and Leeds Festival headline appearances. “We’ve got Reading Festival in August and maybe a few weeks off after that. So September, October time we’ll get into the studio and start writing and working on the songs.”rem
Reading Festival tickets are available online, with day ticket prices starting at around £40.
