Singer Jessie J has confirmed to fans on twitter that she has broken her foot.

After having the injury confirmed at hospital on June 21st, she posted a message the following day which read, “Turns out I’ve been hobbling around with a broke foot. So will be in a hench grey darfaydar-looking boot and on crutches for 6 weeks (cool lol).” The injury came whilst the singer was in rehearsals, and meant she had to perform at the weekend’s Capital FM Summertime Ball in London sitting on a throne.

She plays a series of UK festivals this summer before embarking on a UK tour in October.
