Nathan Followill talks of embarrassment at Kings of Leon antics

August 1st, 2011 by Jessica Martinez

The Kings of Leon abandoned their performance at Dallas on July 29th owing to problems suffered by lead singer Caleb Followill. The singer reportedly suffered from heat and exhaustion issues but many seem to indicate the show was stopped due to alcohol problems.

The band then postponed their gig at Houston on July 30th and now the band’s drummer Nathan Followill has revealed how he is feeling by their current state.

He tweeted, “Not so good morning 4 me today. Ashamed & embarrassed by last nights (July 29) fiasco. Can’t apologize enough, utterly gutted. A million I’m sorry’s.”

The different lines expressed by different members of the band seem to show that there are major internal problems with the band and the North American tour are in real danger of being forced into cancelling further shows at this rate.

Kings of Leon tickets are available online.
