Kings of Leon tour cancellation to cost millions

August 4th, 2011 by Jessica Martinez

The Kings of Leon have recently cancelled the rest of their shows in the US over vocal problems and exhaustion of lead singer Caleb Followill.

Now it has been revealed that the cancellation of these shows will cost the band over £9million which will hit their insurers, Lloyds, very hard. The band have said they will return to play their dates in Canada this September, but it appears that the cancelled US dates will have dramatic fiscal effects.

Although the official line from the band has said that the tour was cancelled due to the health of Caleb, the other band members have revealed that Caleb is also having drinking problems at the moment.

Kings of Leon tour dates are available online.
