Nathan Followill rubbishes talk of Caleb’s Kings of Leon exit

August 11th, 2011 by jackgilbert

Kings of Leon drummer Nathan Followill has denied and ridiculed tabloid claims that the band have kicked out front man Caleb Followill from the all-conquering southern rock band.

US tabloid magazine Star reported that Caleb had been asked to leave the band because of his “diva traits” and the band would continue with “Jared and Matthew to take over lead vocals.” The news of this disquiet comes as Kings of Leon were forced to cancel their US tour over drink and health issues which Caleb suffered from.

Nathan Followill tweeted in response to these rumours, “BREAKING NEWS: KOL has kicked Caleb out and Jared & Matt will be taking over lead vocals. Where do people come up with this sh*t? Hilarious.” Kings of Leon will be back for the Canadian leg of their world tour.

Kings of Leon 2011 tickets are available online now.
