Billy Connolly announces 2012 UK tour

Legendary comedian Billy Connolly has confirmed details of a 2012 UK tour. Regarded as one of the world’s best-loved comedians, Connolly will hit the road with his new ‘The Man’ show throughout January, February and March next year.

The run of shows will begin in Leicester on 15th January, before moving on to cities such as Liverpool, Nottingham, Bristol, Birmingham and Manchester. The tour will come to a close at The Brighton Centre on the 15th and 16th March.

Despite appearing in a number of films, it is stand-up comedy where Connolly has gained most praise, having been named by Channel 4 as the Greatest Ever Stand-up on two separate occasions.
