Yesterday saw the release of the New York band’s first single in five years, Under Cover Of Darkness (currently available for free download) and the album from whence it came, Angles, has a release date of March 21st 2011.

The former British Army soldier writes supremely melodic acoustic pop, and tracks such as Wisemen and Goodbye My Lover cemented the good captain’s reputation as one of the best singer-songwriters around.

Nicky Byrne, Kian Egan, Mark Feehily and Shane Filan are well known for being excellent singers live in concert, and they will most certainly delight crowds with marvellous renditions of all their hit songs.

The Samoans will be highly motivated to play the 2007 Rugby World Cup finalists, and an ounce of complacency from Martin Johnson’s side could see them capitalise. Expect to see the visitors’ perform their traditional war dance, the Manu Siva Tau, prior to the match, which can intimidate opponents in a similar fashion to that of the All Blacks’ of New Zealand’s Haka.
