A Live Nation spokesman stated that the singer, ‘is exhausted and doesn’t feel well.’ Organisers have confirmed that they are trying to arrange new dates for the shows that have been cancelled.

Rihanna is expected to recover in time for her UK shows later this month. The singer will perform in London, Birmingham, Manchester, Sheffield, Nottingham, Glasgow and Newcastle throughout November and December, as well as headlining the Saturday night at Capital FM’s Jingle Bell Ball.

In what is seen as the official tribute to the late “King Of Pop” Michael Jackson, the Michael Forever Tribute Concert will take place at the Millennium Stadium on October 8th, and will feature performances from the likes of JLS, Christina Aguilera, Alexandra Burke and Leona Lewis.

The news of the addition of the Black Eyed Peas has come as a bit of a surprise to some, with the group rumoured to have considered splitting up within the past few months.

The singer was the clear favourite going into last night’s ceremony, after previously winning the award back in 2001. Harvey beat the likes of Adele, Tinie Tempah, Katy B, James Blake and Elbow to the prize, regarded as one of the highest honours in the music industry.

On accepting the award, she stated “It’s really good to be here this evening, because when I last won 10 years ago I was in Washington DC watching the Pentagon burning from my hotel window.

“So much has happened since then. This album took me a long time to write. It was very important to me. I wanted to make something meaningful, not just for myself but for other people, and hopefully to make something that would last.”

In an interview with MTV at last Sunday’s VMA’s Britney told, “I don’t know if I’m at liberty to tell. But I will anyways – it’s ‘Criminal’. Actually the song, when I first heard it, [I thought] ‘It’s really different and [there's] not anything I’ve heard like this before’. So I really wanted to deliver this song.”

A Different Kind of Fix will be their third record in three years and now it will have a playable Pac Man esque game to promote its release. He tweeted, “Whole bunch of things being plotted. More solo/book tours in Europe and US, new Stone Sour album, a US Slipknot tour. Going to be busy!” So it seems he plans to go back into the studio with his other band, Stone Sour, and tour once more with Slipknot. Despite headlining this year’s Sonisphere Festival, Slipknot have not played many live shows since the death of bassist Paul Gray last year, so the news that they will tour once more will certainly please fans.

In an interview with Radio 1′s Hugh Stevens, James Blake revealed that the collaboration came about after he met with Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon at  South By South West in Texas. Bon Iver will be touring the UK this Autumn and tickets for these forthcoming shows are still available online.

The musical is about the life of the rapper and was produced by Damien Higginbotham and Phillip Roser and Higginbotham told the L.A times, “I’m a big Kanye fan. I thought that a musical in his honour would be a lot of fun to put on. I really just meant the show to be something fun for my friends to see and I’m pretty excited by all the attention it’s been getting.”

The musical will run from September 5th to 7th at the University of Sydeny’s Cellar Theatre. Kanye West himself will be performing at Austin’s City Limits Festival next month.

Walsh will replace Amanda Holden in the role of Princess Fiona, as Holden has just revealed that she is pregnant and will leave the show on October 3rd. The musical itself is an adaption from the hit film and has been wowing fans for months at London’s Theatre Royal Drury Lane.

Previously the band indicated that their current tour could be their last, and this was further suggested when Jared Leto (leadsinger) spoke to Kerrang this week.

He told the magazine, “A lot of artists peak or get burned out. A lot of times they stop trying and those are all dangers. It took two years to make ‘This Is War’. Touring it has been another two years. Do I have that in me again? I don’t know.”

The band will be performing at this weekend’s Reading and Leeds Festivals along with the likes of My Chemical Romance and Muse.

The Telephone singer will star in a new episode entitled Lisa Goes Gaga which will air next Spring. She told Entertainment Weekly about her role, “I make music, but I don’t do voice-overs every day of the week, and their characters are so awesomely convincing and sincere and wild and funny, I had to remind myself constantly of the sincerity of the humor.”

She went on to add, “That’s what I was trying to focus on, not putting on a character too much and really being as sincere as I could with the lines. I would say this is one of the coolest things I’ve ever done. My dad’s probably going to do 80 backflips when the episode comes out.”

During the live webcast, Noel stated that he did know Liam Gallagher had laryngitis before the cancelled Oasis show at V Festival in 2009. Previously Noel commented that the real reason behind their cancelled show was due to Liam’s hangover and not an illness. It was over these comments that Liam filed a lawsuit against his brother.
