The band, who completed their 18-month tour in support of the reissue of their seminal 1991 album ‘Screamadelica’ last year, are set to perform on three separate dates in Scotland this summer.

The gigs kick off at Inverness Ironworks on June 14, before moving on to Aberdeen Music Hall on June 15 -  with the band wrap things up with a headline show at Edinburgh’s Queens Hall on June 16.

Lee Latchford-Evans, Claire Richards, Lisa Scott-Lee, Faye Tozer, and Ian “H” Watkins enjoyed huge success in the 1990′s with hits such as One For Sorrow and Tragedy, but disbanded back in 2002 after releasing their Greatest Hits album.

The group will return to the UK live scene in April next year, and have announced details of arena shows in cities including London, Manchester, Birmingham, Cardiff and Glasgow.

The American metal greats will kick off their intimate tour at Glasgow’s renowned King Tut’s on March 8th, 2012, and it will conclude at London’s O2 Academy Islington on March 27th. The tour will be the UK showcase for their most recent album, The Age Of Hell, which came out last week.

The hit Newcastle indie band will tour to showcase their debut album, In Search of Elusive Little Comets. The tour was originally scheduled for May, but was postponed following the departure of drummer Mark Harle.

The single, which comes from his new album Echoes, is released on August 21st, while the album is released a day later. The video can be watched below.

The singer also recently unveiled another track from the album, Happy Now, which focuses on accepting the difficult decisions that have to be made with age, and changing for the better. He told Digital Spy: “It’s not about hanging on to things that have happened, because I think if you do it shows in your demeanour. It’s about releasing that and just feeling quite content being in my 30s and thinking, ‘Actually, it’s okay, I don’t mind the wrinkles; I’ll forego the wrinkles for some wisdom!”

The twelve-date tour has been titled the Maybe Someday tour, igniting speculation that they may be working on an album with the same name.
