Weston Super Mare’s seaside pop festival, T4 On The Beach, has announced the first acts on this year’s line-up.

Tulisa, Wretch 32, Conor Maynard, Rita Ora, Alexandra Burke and the cast of Made In Chelsea are the first names to be revealed for the show, joining previously announced pop stars including Professor Green, Rizzle Kicks, Little Mix, Dappy, Labrinth and Cover Drive.

T4 presenter Nick Grimshaw said: “The line-up this year is looking truly awesome and it’s definitely going to be a great party to kick off the summer! Make sure you get your tickets soon to join us on the beach for a day you will not forget – there are only 10 weeks to go!”

Katy Perry has revealed that she turned down the chance to replace Kelly Rowland on last week’s UK X Factor shows. The former Destinys Child star was forced to pull out from her judging role due to illness, and was replaced by former competition winner Alexandra Burke.

US singer Katy Perry said she was originally offered the chance to step in, but could not accept the role due to her touring commitments.

Speaking to the Evening Express, the singer said, “I would have loved to but I just didn’t have time. I might have felt out of the loop as the show is not at the beginning.”

US group Black Eyed Peas could be set to announce their split, after pulling out of this weekend’s Michael Forever Tribute Concert in Cardiff. The group were confirmed for the event last week, only to pull out just a few days before the show, leaving many fans disappointed.

A source told The Mirror, “Pulling out of this weekend’s gig is the final curtain call for them – especially as they’re all such huge Jacko fans.

“Things have been taking a turn for the worse over the past few months but this signals the end.”

The band have sold over 56million albums worldwide since their debut in 2003.

The Michael Forever Tribute Concert will be held at Cardiff Millennium Stadium on Saturday October 8th and will feature JLS, Christina Aguilera, Alexandra Burke, Leona Lewis, Ne-Yo, 3T, Cee-Lo Green, Smokey Robinson, Alien Ant Farm, Craig David, Alexandra Burke and Pixie Lott, and will be hosted by Oscar-winning actor Jamie Foxx.

The Black Eyed Peas have pulled out of this weekend’s Michael Forever Tribute Concert at Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium. The group were on of the biggest names on the line-up for the show, which will take place on Saturday 8th October.

The US group have stated “unavoidable circumstances” as the reason for their exit, after being announced to appear on the bill only a week ago. Chris Hunt, CEO of Global Live Events which is staging the show, said: “It is with regret that we announce the removal of Black Eyed Peas from the Michael Forever bill, but I look forward to a great night with other earth shattering artists.

“The event is really getting into gear and is going to be a fantastic evening for all.”

The concert, which will be attended by members of the Jackson family, will feature JLS, Christina Aguilera, Alexandra Burke, Leona Lewis, Ne-Yo, 3T, Cee-Lo Green, Smokey Robinson, Alien Ant Farm, Craig David, Alexandra Burke and Pixie Lott, and will be hosted by Oscar-winning actor Jamie Foxx.

The Black Eyed Peas are the latest big-name act to join the increasingly-impressive Michael Forever Tribute Concert line-up.

In what is seen as the official tribute to the late “King Of Pop” Michael Jackson, the Michael Forever Tribute Concert will take place at the Millennium Stadium on October 8th, and will feature performances from the likes of JLS, Christina Aguilera, Alexandra Burke and Leona Lewis.

The news of the addition of the Black Eyed Peas has come as a bit of a surprise to some, with the group rumoured to have considered splitting up within the past few months.

The concert, which will be attended by members of the Jackson family, will also feature Ne-Yo, 3T, Cee-Lo Green, Smokey Robinson, Alien Ant Farm, Craig David, Alexandra Burke and Pixie Lott. The event will be hosted by Oscar-winning actor Jamie Foxx.

Although organisers say around 26,000 tickets were taken up in the registration period, and despite tickets going on general sale yesterday morning, there are still plenty of tickets remaining. Beyonce has been added to the bill of the Michael Jackson Tribute Concert, but will be performing via a satellite link rather than at the venue.

The smash hit international success is the highest-profile artist to be confirmed for the event. The event’s website states that more acts are still to be announced. Dance act Diversity have also been confirmed to appear live, and join artists including Christina Aguilera, Leona Lewis, Pixie Lott, Craig David, Cee Lo Green, Alexandra Burke and Alien Ant Farm.

The concert will be held on October 8th at Cardiff’s Millenium Stadium.

Olly Murs has announced that he will release his new single in August.

In a message to fans on his Youtube account (watch below), the singer announced the single would be called Heart Skips A Beat and will be released on August 21st. It will feature on his second album, the follow up to 2010 debut album, Olly Murs, which reached number two on the UK albums chart.

Murs is currently touring with JLS, and later will perform at Kempton Park Racecourse on August 12th, and with Alexandra Burke at Castle Howard, York on August 14th.

Marvin’s band mates have confirmed this is not an engagement ring but a ‘promise’ of his commitment.

JLS are extremely busy at the moment, from clothing range 2KX with Alexandra Burke, summer festivals and their own extended tour now on it’s second leg, in UK arenas.

Alexandra Burke’s brother claims that he supplies drugs to celebrities

Alexandra Burke’s brother Aaron has reportedly claimed that he supplies drugs to celebrities he has met through his sister.

The Sun reports that the 18-year-old has supplied cocaine to a number of contacts – including a member of a ‘huge boyband’ and a rapper.

Aaron is seen selling the Class A drug in recent video footage obtained by the newspaper.

“I can get the best stuff – as much as you want,” he is heard saying. “I get it for celebrities I’ve met because of my sister.”

The 2008 X Factor winner Alexandra Burke will release her second album this year, she has confirmed. The follow up to Overcome was originally scheduled to be released last year, but instead, the singer re-released an extended version of her debut.

Alexandra Burke is already recording new material, and recently spoke about what her fans can expect. “I love my up-tempo stuff so I don’t want to lose that as people know me for it,” she told the Daily Star. “But I’ll also have special ballads, maybe three at the most.

“I really want to take risks like I did on this tour – it’s a taster. You’re absolutely going to hear it this year. I’m not wasting any time,” adds Burke.

“After the tour I’m taking two days off to sort myself out, then I’m going to finish the album.”

Speaking to OK, she said: “Do not judge X Factor contestants. Give them a break. They’re doing a fantastic job.

“I’ve been singing in bars from the age of 9. So anyone that tells me I don’t deserve this position, you’re wrong. Because I’ve worked really hard for it.

“No-one sees what goes on behind the scenes. Those contestants are up at the crack of dawn and going to bed very, very late and they are doing the best they can and working very, very hard.”

Kylie Minogue headlines this weekend’s Capital FM Jingle Bell Ball in aid of the charity Help A London Child.

The Ball, which takes place this weekend at the O2 Arena in London, will feature a host of stars including The Script, Duffy, Cee-Lo Green, Black Eyed Peas, The Wanted, Nicole Scherzinger, Jason Derulo, Olly Murs, Taio Cruz, Alexandra Burke, McFly, Scouting For Girls, JLS, Akon, Tinie Tempah, The Saturdays, The Wanted, Flo Rida, Jay Sean, Example and Labrinth.

Kylie will play on the Sunday night, and the show will be hosted by Capital Radio DJs such as Johnny Vaughan and Lisa Snowdon.

Tickets for Cork’s Live At The Marquee are on sale Friday. The festival, which takes place at Cork Docklands, runs from the 23rd June to the 1st July 2011.

Acts performing include Alexandra Burke, Elton John, Bryan Adams, Christy Moore, Imelda May and Bell XI.

The festival has been running since 2005 and always boasts an impressive line up of superstars. Make sure you don’t miss out.

Matt Cardle may miss out on X Factor semi final

One of the five remaining contestants of this years X Factor competition, Matt Cardle, is apparently suffering from throat trouble.

Matt, who remains in the show along with Cher Lloyd, Rebecca Ferguson, Mary Byrne and One Direction, missed a secret gig in London last night because of his illness, and he has apparently lost his voice completely. When asked if he would appear in the show at the weekend he replied “I’ve got my fingers crossed”.

This weekends semi-final will see one more X Factor contestant eliminated before the final on the 11th December, and guest performances by the Black Eyed Peas, Alexandra Burke and the cast of Glee.

The X Factor live tour will begin in February 2011, and will tour arenas around the country. The final five contestants will star alongside the previous four, Wagner, Katie Waissel, Paije Richardson and Aiden Grimshaw.

Controversial X Factor reject Wagner to release a book

If rumours are to be believed, former X Factor contestant Wagner is in the middle of a bidding war by several publishers over the rights to a book deal, which could amount to as much as £1 million. Wagner has been banned from giving exit interviews after he was eliminated from the competition last weekend, sparking rumours that he knows things about the show that bosses might not want revealed.

Wagner was the centre of an online campaign to keep him in the competition by people opposing the show, as a way of making a mockery of the other contestants. However after a web based scam that saw the number to call to vote for him posted on web advertising site Gumtree, tricking users into voting for him when they thought they were inquiring about a product on sale, the singer is once again a controversial figure in the news.

Allegations of competition fixing and auto-tuning live performances have also plagued the hit show this series. Rebecca Ferguson, one of the remaining contestants, was apparently in tears after the results show last weekend because she believes the show is being geared up for her rival Cher Lloyd to win.

This weekends semi final sees performances by remaining contestants Matt Cardle, One Direction, Cher Lloyd, Mary Byrne and Rebecca Ferguson, as well as guest appearances by the cast of Glee, former winner Alexandra Burke and rap group Black Eyed Peas.

This weekend the O2 Arena plays host to Capital FM’s charity event, the Jingle Bell Ball. The event runs for two nights, on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th December, and is in aid of the charity Help A London Child. The event is hosted by Capital Radio DJs Johnny Vaughan, Lisa Snowdon, Richard Clarke and Kat Shoob.

Cheryl Cole to host US X Factor

Cheryl Cole is reported to being close to securing a £3 million deal to host the new American X Factor. Simon Cowell, who quit American Idol to concentrate on his own franchise, has apparently influenced Fox to hire Cole for the new show. Both Cowell and Cole will have to take an 11 hour flight twice a week to commute to and from Los Angeles.

Although a popular judge on the British X Factor, Cheryl Cole is relatively unknown in the States, as her band Girls Aloud, as well as her solo work, are not as widespread.

In this years British X Factor competition Cheryl represents two remaining contestant, Cher Lloyd and Rebecca Ferguson, who will both be fighting to get through to the final in this weekends show. They will face Matt Cardle, Mary Byrne and boyband One Direction, and there will be guest performances by the Black Eyed Peas, the Cast of Glee and Alexandra Burke.

Whoever wins this years show will be embarking on the X Factor Live tour in 2011 with the final nine contestants, including already eliminated Wagner, Katie Waissel, Aiden Grimshaw and Paije Richardson.

Black Eyed Peas today released their latest album “The Beginning” ahead of their appearance on X Factor this weekend, alongside Alexandra Burke and the cast of Glee. The band, who became famous with their debut single “Where Is The Love” (featuring Justin Timberlake), have produced six studio albums, including the massive records “Elephunk”, “Monkey Business” and “The E.N.D.”

They will perform the first single from their new album, “The Time (Dirty Bit)” on X Factor this weekend. The single features a sample from “(I’ve Had) The Time Of My Life” from 80′s movie Dirty Dancing.

Black Eyed Peas and Alexandra Burke will join the cast of Glee in performing on this weekend’s X Factor results show. The American band embarked on a hugely successful tour of the UK this year, and will be back for the one of performance in support of the release of their latest album, The Beginning.

Alexandra Burke is a former winner of the competition, beating JLS to the title back in 2008.

This year’s X Factor competition is now at the semi-final stage, with only Matt Cardle, Cher Lloyd, Mary Byrne, Rebecca Ferguson and boy-band One Direction left. This year’s Jingle Bell Ball will take place at London’s O2 Arena on Saturday 4th December and Sunday 5th December, and despite tickets selling out from primary vendors soon after going on sale yesterday, they are still available from fan-to-fan ticket exchange websites.

The show on Saturday 4th December will be headlined by The Script and The Black Eyed Peas. Alexandra Burke shot straight to number one in the UK Singles Chart with her song Start Without You – and in the process knocked fellow X Factor graduate Olly Murs from the top spot. It is her third UK number one after her interesting interpretation of Leonard Cohen’s classic song Hallelujah, and Bad Boys with Flo Rida. Of course, she also featured jointly on charity singles Hero and Everybody Hurts – which also claimed the number one spot.

Four more acts have been added to the Heroes concert line-up for the event taking place at Twickenham Stadium on Sunday 12th September. Katherine Jenkins, Enrique Iglesias, Alesha Dixon and The Wanted will now join the already star-studded bill.

Robbie Williams has been confirmed to headline the event, with James Blunt, Plan B, Alexandra Burke, Michael McIntyre and Jason Manford also confirmed to appear.

Both standing and seated Help For Heroes tickets are available, as are inner and outer golden circle tickets. The cheapest tickets are currently priced at £60 and are for middle and upper tier seats. The stadium will increase it’s capacity to 60,000 in order to accommodate the huge event.

JLS to front own show after X Factor final

It has been confirmed that popular boy-band JLS will front their own hour-long television show, directly after this year’s X Factor final. The band have gone on to gain huge success since finishing as runners-up to Alexandra Burke on the X Factor two years ago.

JLS will perform a mixture of their hits and new material from their forthcoming second album immediately after the live final, which is expected to be watched by millions of viewers.

The band are currently mid-way through a huge UK tour and recently secured chart-topping success with The Club Is Alive. JLS tickets are available for arena dates throughout December and into January 2011, including performances at Liverpool Echo Arena, Manchester MEN Arena, Birmingham LG Arena and London Wembley Arena.
