Melanie C, Peter Andre and The Sugababes are among the celebrities to be showcasing their talents in hit musicals in the name of the acclaimed charity Children In Need. Taking place from September 10th to 15th, Melanie C will sing We Are The Champions in We Will Rock You, Peter Andre will perform Unchained Melody in Ghost The Musical and The Sugababes will sing Dancing Queen at the finale of Mamma Mia on September 15th.

Peter Andre commented, “I was so impressed when I went to see Ghost The Musical. It was one of the best shows I’ve ever seen. So when I was approached by BBC Children In Need to get involved, I jumped at the chance and just hope that I can do it justice! The cast are great so it’ll be so much fun working with them and raising money for an amazing cause all at the same time.”

Les Miserables is hitting the silver screen in another film adaptation of the infamous musical and Hugh Jackman is first choice for the leading man.

Les Miserables is one of the West Ends longest running musicals, enjoying it’s ten-thousandth performance last year. Similarly Jackman is no stranger to an all singing all dancing performance: he picked up a Tony Award for Outstanding Actor in the musical ‘The Boy from Oz’ , he hosted the Tony Awards and the Oscars in 2009 when he chose to present in a cabaret format singing and dancing his way through the awards.

The adaptation is being undertaken by Tom Hooper,the director of The Kings Speech, with shooting commencing at the end of the year.

Explaining why he likes the Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice musical – which highlights the struggles between biblical figure Jesus and his betrayer Judas – Kyle told the Daily Record newspaper: “I’ve liked the character of Judas since I was a kid. When I was younger my sister showed me the film of ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’ and I was fascinated.

“I was intrigued by the psychedelic version. I thought Judas made a better point. He had better tunes as well. He is a deranged character and I’d really love to play him.”

The ‘Same Jeans’ hitmaker’s favourite songs from the production include ‘Heaven on their Minds’ and ‘Everything’s all Right’, and despite not winning the part at his first audition, he is adamant he will one day play Judas. “I once went for the part. I was pure perfect too. But they said, ‘no’. It was an amateur production as well. I will still nail it, but I’m not sure about when. Maybe in a few years. I’ll have  to wait until it hits London again and get some elocution and dancing lessons .”

Meanwhile Kyle is set to tour the US with The View to promote their latest album, ‘Bread and Circuses’.

Vowing to carry on skating even though he’s been booted off Dancing On Ice, the TV personality found himself in the bottom two along with Sam Attwater before leaving.

After his exit, Jeff said: “I feel like I’m grateful to have had the opportunity to take part in the show, and to have got so far is unbelievable.”

Brazier has been confirmed to take part in this year’s Dancing On Ice Live UK Tour.

Brazier has been used as a guest reporter on X Factor live finals and has also presented the X Factor live tour since 2005.

“Cowell first used me in the X Factor final and for me I would say that is the perfect job as I feel I am best used when I’m mixing with people and getting the best out of contestants,” Brazier told Metro.

“I am kind of at the stage where I want to take on big responsibilities. It is getting close to the period when they start making decisions, I am guessing.

“I am certainly making the most of my opportunity on Dancing On Ice and the rest is up to Simon Cowell to see who he thinks will be the best person for the job.

“Like any person, you kind of go about picking up the skills so that one day it will put you in a position to be able to do certain types of jobs.”

When Haye took on the huge Nikolai Valuev in November for the WBA Belt, he fought a brilliant tactical match. Valuev is a slow and lumbering seven foot monster, but inevitably with such huge weight behind his punches he presents a real danger. Haye tired him out with the strategy of dancing around the ring, with Valuev struggling to change direction quickly, and darted in with swift punches when he could. David Haye is considered the fastest puncher in the heavyweight division, and Wladimir Klitschko will have to be on top of his game to cope. As would Haye of course.

A few new revelations about Beyonce have come to light as the UK starts to get ready for her upcoming tour for the album I Am Sasha Fierce.

It has been reported that Beyonce claims she is a disastrous cook and the way she prepares to host a dinner for friends is to order takeaway from the best restaurants and having it delivered to her.

She has also revealed that she loves ordering room service at hotels and that in some hotels, she is so familiar with the menu already that she looks forward to ordering her favourite dishes as soon as she arrives there.

However, when Beyonce is not touring from city to city, she likes to spend her free time riding her bike. She said she enjoys cycling with other members of her entourage, such as her stylist and her assistant, and rarely gets recognised.

Beyonce said that cycling helped keep her grounded as she is able to cycle as normal without being stopped as onlookers tend not to realise it is actually her and when they do realise, it is too late.

It also seems that video games is something else Beyonce is interested in outside of music because she has revealed she would like to create a new dance fitness video.

Admitting she is a fan of the Nintendo Wii Fit game, Beyonce claims that dancing and choreography is the most fun way of working out and thinks women would also think the same, especially when compared to running on the treadmill.

Beyonce will have to wait a while for her free time as her massive UK tour is set to start at the Liverpool Echo Arena on November 11.

The Beyonce tour will also play at the Birmingham National Indoor Arena (November 12), London O2 Arena (November 14 & 16), Manchester Evening News Arena (November 18), Newcastle Metro Radio Arena (November 19) and the Nottingham Trent FM Arena (November 20).

Music and lyrics will be provided by Dave Stewart, formerly of the Eurythmics, and Glen Ballard, while Brice Joel Rubin will adapt the original screenplay for the stage and write the lyrics. Released in 1990, Ghost is one of the highest-grossing romantic films ever. The supernatural fantasy will follow Dirty Dancing to become the second film starring Patrick Swayze to be transferred to the London stage.
