Bestival tickets still on sale as line-up nears completion

Bestival tickets are still available for this year’s ‘fantasy’ themed event on the Isle Of Wight. The festival will take place on the 10th, 11th and 12th September and is the last major UK festival of the year.

Acts confirmed include Dizzee Rascal and Hot Chip on Friday, The Flaming Lips and Roxy Music on Saturday, and The Prodigy on Sunday, plus Mumford & Sons, The Temper Trap, The xx, Fever Ray, Hot Chip, LCD Soundsystem, Gil Scott-Heron, Chase & Status, Echo and the Bunnymen, Simian Mobile Disco, Delphic, Rolf Harris, The Cuban Brothers and many more.

Although officially sold out from primary ticket vendors, Bestival weekend tickets start trading at £190 on the secondary ticket market, with the cheapest currently listed on fan-to-fan ticket exchange website Viagogo. Tickets are also available from vendors such as Seatwave, GetMeIn and eBay.

Reading Festival day tickets falling in price

Reading Festival tickets for Friday 27th August can now be bought on the secondary ticket market for as little as £80 each. Websites such as Seatwave and Viagogo are currently listing a total of 65 Friday tickets under £1oo each.

Guns N’ Roses will headline the main stage at Reading Festival on Friday 27th August and will be supported by Queens of the Stone Age, Biffy Clyro, Lostprophets, NoFX, Gogol Bordello, Billy Talent, A Day to Remember and Young Guns.

The NME/Radio 1 stage will see appearances from Phoenix, Mumford & Sons, Delphic, Yeasayer, The Big Pink and Two Door Cinema Club.

Reading Festival weekend tickets are currently trading from £227 to £1000.

Line-up announced for Reading and Leeds festivals

A host of names were announced to perform at this year’s Reading and Leeds festivals as tickets went on sale yesterday evening. Rumours came to life as Blink 182, Arcade Fire and Guns ‘N’ Roses were confirmed as headliners, and The Libertines, Biffy Clyro and Paramore were also confirmed.

The Prodigy confirmed for Bestival 2010

The Prodigy have been confirmed to headline the last night of this summer’s Bestival on the Isle of Wight. A host of names have been added to the line-up for this year’s Great Escape festival in Brighton. Band of Skulls, Wild Beasts, Eighties Matchbox B-line Disaster, Gold Panda and Lonelady have all been confirmed to play at the event.

The popular festival, considered by many as Britain’s answer to America’s South by Southwest, is spread across various venues around the city and runs from the 13th May to the 15th May and tickets are still available to buy and compare here at Tixdaq.com.

Madness, Jamie T and Paloma Faith have all been confirmed to play at this summer’s T in the Park festival in Scotland, joining previously announced headliners Eminem, Kasabian and Muse. Delphic to headline Liverpool festival

Delphic are among the latest acts confirmed for this year’s Liverpool Sound City. They join a diverse line-up featuring The Fall, Hot Club De Paris, The Maccabees and The Blackout. BRIT Award for Ellie Goulding

Ellie Goulding received the Critics Choice award at the BRIT Awards last night. She was presented with the award by Courtney Love, who praised the newcomer’s talent. Goulding beat the likes of Delphic and Marina & the Diamonds to the award, which last year was won by Florence & the Machine.

‘Well this is mental,’ the Hereford-born star said. ‘I just wanna say thank you so much to the critics who gave me this award.’

Ellie Goulding fans will be pleased to hear she will be touring the UK from March. Celebrating the release of her debut album ‘Lights’ on March 1, the Ellie Goulding spring tour includes visits to a number of top UK venues including the Manchester Academy and the O2 Academy in Birmingham.

Delphic announce UK tour
