Beyonce’s new album ’4′ has been inspired by Brit sensations Adele and Florence And The Machine.

’4′ is released on June the 27th and among our British talent Beyonce was also inspired by legend’s Prince and Jackson Five.

The album is sure to be an eclectic sound as she has found inspiration in a wide range or genres and eras: “I also found a lot of inspiration in 90s R&B, Earth Wind & Fire, DeBarge, Lionel Richie, Teenie Marie… I listened to a lot of Jackson Five and New Edition, but also Adele, Florence And The Machine, and Prince,” she said. ”Add in my hip-hop influences, and you can hear how broad it is.”

wow. Thats a lot of sounds and “broad” could be a massive understatement!

’4′ is the fourth studio album from Beyonce,  perhaps this was Adele’s contribution to the inspiration process, since her albums are named after the age she was when writing them? No. Beyonce’s fans inspired her on this creative journey, lucky fans.

The publication claims the Canadian-based band played a set consisting of four covers – Creedence Clearwater Revival‘s ‘Who’ll Stop The Rain‘, The Rolling Stones‘ ‘The Last Time‘, Blondie‘s ‘The Tide Is High‘ and Cyndi Lauper‘s ‘Girls Just Wanna Have Fun‘ – alongside a selection of their own favourites including ‘Keep The Car Running‘ and ‘Power Out‘.

Arcade Fire have strong links to Haiti thanks to principal member Régine Chassagne, whose parents emigrated from Haiti to Canada, and have been working hard to raise money for the Haitian Earthquake Relief initiative throughout their touring schedule’s of 2010 and 2011.

The band play Hyde Park this summer.

Support act for all three gigs will be the Brand New Heavies – complete with original vocalist N’Dea Davenport.

Arcade Fire, Muse and Eminem headline the event, with very able support coming from acts of the calibre of Jay-Z, the Black Eyed Peas, Kasabian, The Prodigy, Florence and the Machine, Groove Armada, Earth, Wind & Fire, Fatboy Slim, Tinie Tempah and Chipmunk – and that is only naming a tiny selection.

Oxegen Festival tickets are on sale now, with both weekend tickets and day tickets still available. Day tickets begin from £80 through Seatwave, while weekend tickets can be found from €224.50 through Ticketmaster, which is equivalent to £191.88 using today’s conversion rate.
