Lady GaGa is widely expected to be close to confirming details of a 2012 World tour. Lady GaGa tickets could go on sale withing the next few weeks.

Adele, Justin Bieber and 30 Seconds To Mars are each shortlisted for three awards, whilst on the back of the announcement of a December 2011 Coldplay UK tour, the band have been nominated for best UK and Ireland act.

The 18th Annual MTV EMA’s will take place at Belfast’s Odyssey Arena on November 6th, with the ceremony set to be broadcast live on MTV.

The smash hit singer performed on the main stage before headliner Eminem, and the penultimate song of her setlist was Marley’s 1980 classic Redemption Song. Rihanna has covered the song before, including a performance on Oprah and for charity Haiti Live, and the V Festival performance can be watched below. Music News Daily has reported that the two stars will be working together on a track for Christina’s new record. It is also rumoured that the Beautiful singer will be working with Cee Lo Green on the new album.

Nate Dogg died last year and during Eminem’s performance last night, he dedicated the track Till I Collapse to him. He professed to the crowd ”Make some noise for Nate Dogg y’all”. He went on to perform Next Episode on which Nate Dogg featured along with Dr Dre and Snoop Dogg.

Ronson was very close to the late soul singer Amy Winehouse and he produced her infamous Back to Black album. His gig last night was a self acclaimed celebration of Winehouse’s life, and the set included several of her songs including a cover of Valerie, Back to Black and Rehab.

The hugely successful pop/rockers from Leeds will play these two shows at Kirkstall Abbey on September 10th and 11th and it will be sure to be some show. The new solo single from Dappy, entitled No Regrets, has lyrics which contend, “I’m a prince and yes Will get the crown, Kate stays in my dungeon when her sister’s round.”

Duran Duran were forced to pull out of the festival due to singer Simon Le Bon contracting laryngitis, which also caused them to cancel or reschedule most of their European tour. The band were due to headline The Arena stage, the third biggest stage of the festival.

The album is the collaboration of Eminem and Royce da 5’9″, collectively known as Bad Meets Evil. They worked on Eminem’s first album together ‘The slim Shady LP’ in 1999 and have had numerous projects since including Jay-Z and Dr Dre.

‘Hell: The Sequel’ was released on June the 13th. Eminem is performing at V Festival this summer.

The ’Pack Up’ singer encountered the 11-piece group at the SXSW festival in the US last month and has declared that she has been a fan of them since she saw them in London last year.

When asked about a possible collaboration, she said: “I would die for that, that would be amazing. I don’t know if it would ever happen. Two very different worlds colliding – I love it when that happens. They remind me of Eminem but even more controversial.”

Doolittle recently revealed that she plans to work with Tinie Tempah in the coming months, while Odd Future member Ocean is currently working with Beyoncé on her new album.

Of the continued relevance of BAD’s material, Jones told BBC 6 Music: “We were singing about things like apartheid and we talk about Reagan, but Reagan’s the same as Bush. The same people, they come again. It’s not like we’re prophetic or anything, but a lot of it is relevant today, surprisingly enough.”

Of the return to the live stage, he added: “It was pretty amazing – amazing, nice, carrying on with the spirit of what we did originally. It was much easier for me when I was doing the Gorillaz because it wasn’t all on me, it was on Damon [Albarn].

“Now it’s a lot more on me – I had to learn the lyrics and stuff. It came back quite well – once you see the first line all the rest comes back. It’s a bit like riding a bike or something.

“We tried to add something of ourselves in it now. We’ve done new stuff as well as keeping the original samples.”

BAD have also been confirmed for this year’s V Festival, which is being headlined by Eminem and Arctic Monkeys.

Eminem told E!Online, “Nate’s voice in music will never be replaced. He helped create the blueprint for West Coast hip-hop, and I was one of the lucky people who had the privilege to work with him and the honour to have him as a friend,”
