The ‘More Than Alot’ stars – who are currently working on their third studio album – will play the Eden project venue on July 4, with rapper Labrynth set to support.

The dance group join the likes of  Frank Turner, Plan B and The Vaccines/Noah And The Whale, Blink-182 and Example, in playing an Eden session.

They are due to headline the event on July 8, with ‘Kickstarts’ rapper playing on June 30, Turner on July 1 and the ‘Strickland Banks’ man Plan B plays a show on July 6.

5. The National- England- The National played a very special set on the Saturday evening at the Reading site and here is their rendition of England from their High Violet album:

4. Frank Turner- Photosynthesis- Frank Turner made his mark on the mainstage at Reading and Leeds this year and he certainly did not disappoint. Here is his rendition of Photosynthesis.

3. The Strokes- Hard To Explain- The Strokes delivered their ambivalent indie rock to Reading and Leeds with great aplomb. They sent the crowds into rapturous frenzy and must be regarded as one of the highlights of Reading and Leeds 2011. Here is Hard to Explain.

2. Muse- Intro and New Born- Muse wowed fans during their headline performances at Reading and Leeds. They had an amazing stage which threw out fire at points and added to their very special performance. Have a look at their opening number below.

1. Pulp- Disco 2000- Pulp continued their much acclaimed come back Summer with two stunning sets at Reading and Leeds Festivals. They induced two of the biggest sing alongs throughout the weekend and Disco 2000 is our number 1 highlight.

Pulp will also be going on to perform two very special shows at London’s Brixton Academy on August 31st and September 1st.

The three-day event is held at Bramham Park from Friday 26th – Sunday 28th August. Friday will see Muse headline the main stage, whilst on Saturday My Chemical Romance take the top spot, and Sunday sees a joint headline position shared by The Strokes and Pulp.

Also on today’s bill are acts including Frank Turner, the Levellers and French Soler. Last night the Cribs played a triumphant show to the delight of crowds, while Chase and Status set the crowd on fire with their headline slot on the Friday night.

Blondie will also be playing at this year’s Bestival along with the likes of the Maccabees and Willy Mason.

The forecast for the festival which kicks off this Friday (29th July) looks surprisingly good. It should be sunny with cloudy spells and a chance of rain on Friday, sunny spells and cloud on Saturday and then sun on the Sunday.

While this hopeful news is encouraging we all know the English weather can change very fast so don’t be too optimistic. Set to perform at this year’s Kendal Calling are acts including The Cribs, Blondie, Chase and Status and Frank Turner.

Grown from humble beginnings in 2006, the independent festival has expanded now to a capacity of 8000 with over 9 stages. It is an advert for how to run a successful festival it seems and this year promises to be the biggest and best Kendal Calling yet.

The festival kicks starts on the 29th July and set to perform at this year’s event are acts such as Chase and Status, Blondie, the Cribs and Frank Turner. The festival also boasts a hoard of top DJs aside from these bands which include Caspa, Nero and Herve.

The festival has more to offer than simply great bands and DJs however. Fancy dress is a very important aspect of the festival and this year’s theme is beasts and machines. The festival also has a wide variety of attractions including the weird and wonderful Monstrous Garden tent and a spoken word tent entitled The Soapbox.

The song, ‘I Am Disappeared’, is taken from his forthcoming album ‘England Keep My Bones’, which is due for a June release. Speaking on his regularly updated blog on his website, Frank said “check out “I Am Disappeared“. I’m pretty sure I’m allowed to do this. Publish and be damned! Hope you like it,” whilst linking to the song.

The 19 song album was recorded in 10 days and will be released on the same day as the Arctic Monkeys fourth effort, ‘Suck It and See’.

The Strokes will top the bill at Reading on Saturday and Leeds on Sunday, along with performances from Pulp, The National, Jimmy Eat World, Madness, Two Door Cinema Club, Seasick Steve, The Pigeon Detectives and The Joy Formidable.

Muse will headline Reading on Sunday and Friday in Leeds, with support from Elbow, Interpol, Friendly Fires, Enter Shikari, The View, Frank Turner and We Are The Ocean.

Beady Eye, Janes Addiction, 2many DJ’s, White Lies, Crystal Castles, The Streets, Noah and the Whale, Bombay Bicycle Club and Death From Above 1979 have also all been confirmed to appear across the weekend.

Reading Festival will take place at Richfield Avenue from the 26th to 28th August, whilst Leeds Festival will take place at Bramham Park across the same weekend. Weekend tickets will be priced at  around £190, whilst day tickets will be priced at £80.

They have recently announced a tour of the United States to take place this autumn, which comes as they complete work on their eighth studio album. However, what will be more of note to UK fans is that the official band website reveals that there will be news of UK dates to come later this year.

Those fans that cannot wait until then will have a chance to see the Belle And Sebastian at Latitude Festival. The Glaswegians headline Saturday July 17th 2010 above Crystal Castles, The Maccabees, James, Frank Turner, Corinne Bailey Rae and the xx, with many more acts across the three days.

Florence And The Machine, The National, Vampire Weekend and Grizzly Bear headline the two biggest stages on the other days of the festival, and Latitude Festival tickets are on sale now. Weekend tickets are available from £226 through official festival partner Viagogo.

Joan Jett is most famous for her work in Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, with whom she topped the American billboard charts, but also enjoyed success in first band The Runaways.

Frank Turner is also a rock superstar. Having crafted out a considerably successful career with hardcore band Million Dead, he has reinvented himself as an energetic acoustic artist. Turner’s songs resonate with feeling, and many people relate to his lyrics.

Those who have tickets to Green Day’s Dublin concert at Marlay Park have a slight variation. In addition to Joan Jett, Paramore will open for Green Day in the Irish capital.

Fortunately, Green Day tickets are still available for all these dates – as well as their concert at Paris’ Parc des Princes. Prices begin at £20 for the Lancashire County Cricket Club date – which is substantially less than the face value £29.

In addition, there are over 1000 Wembley tickets still on sale, with Seatwave tickets the best priced at £33.

The cheapest Green Day Wembley Stadium tickets currently available are priced at £37 and are for seats located in the upper tier of the arena. Standing tickets are trading from £45 to £200 and there are over 400 available. Seats are still available in the lower, middle and upper tier of the arena.

The cheapest Green Day tickets for the Manchester show are priced at £27 and are general admission tickets. There are over 700 general admission tickets currently listed on ticket exchange websites. There are also ticket and hotel packages available for this show, priced at around £150.

Green Day tickets are still available on the secondary ticket market for the shows in Manchester on Wednesday 16th June and London on Saturday 19th June. The cheapest Green Day tickets currently available are trading at £29 and are general admission tickets for the Lancashire County Cricket Club show.
