The quartet will perform at leading venues across Europe and the UK in early 2012, closing with their first ever live shows at the Royal Albert Hall in London on April 17th and 18th.

The tour will also see the group perform at venues such as Manchester MEN Arena and Birmingham LG Arena.

The 72 year old actor and comic Cleese is know for his tom foolery in Faulty Towers, his naughtiness in a Fish Called Wonder and his silly antics in Monty Python.  He is the master of the funny walk and can have most in fits of giggles over the most trivial of activities. It’s a gift, which he is now bestowing on fans up and down the country.

The show isn’t your usual celebrity style of confessionals and tactless promotion but more a tender account of his life.  In his quintessentially English way Cleese takes us through the journey of his life. He uses before and after slides to show his marriage and subsequent divorce and suggests what the 20 million settlement could have brought him: “eight and a half Pamela Andersons”

Although there isn’t the usual Q&A and there is a script it doesn’t feel as though Cleese is going through the motions. He involves the audience in his journey and essentially with Cleese’s genuine finesse and charm he entertains us.
