Kaiser Chiefs, Pixie Lott, Jamie Cullum for Q Awards Shows

The acts taking part in the Q Awards Shows have been announced.

Kaiser Chiefs, Jamie Cullum, Pixie Lott and Ed Sheeran are to perform at London’s HMV Forum this October, in the run-up to the Q Awards themselves, which take place on October 24th. Special support acts are to be announced soon.

Full Q Awards Shows dates are:

Jamie Cullum – October 18th
Pixie Lott – October 19th
Kaiser Chiefs – October 21st
Ed Sheeran – October 22nd

As well as performing in London, Kaiser Chiefs are set to play two huge homecoming gigs at Leeds’ Kirkstall Abbey this September.

Kenwood Picnic Concerts tickets: Blondie, Will Young and more

The Kenwood Picnic Concerts are a fabulous event organised by English Heritage. Five events will be held at Kenwood House this summer, and some of the best-loved musicians in the country will play live in the stately home’s grounds. Blondie, Rufus Wainwright, Diana Krall, Will Young and Jamie Cullum will all perform in the delightful setting of a summer sunset in West London.

Kenwood Picnic Concerts tickets are on sale now, for each of the five evenings of the festival, which will all take place on a Saturday. Prices begin at £30 from Gigantic, while full listings of all gigs are below:

Jamie Cullum is the most known Jazz musician for many people in the UK, and he has landed a national radio show in order to publicise the sometimes under-appreciated genre of Jazz. Cullum will present a weekly show on BBC Radio 2 each Tuesday at 7pm beginning on April 6th.

As well as his new career as a radio presenter, Jamie Cullum is doing what he does best – performing. He embarks on a tour of the UK from May 2nd, and with many of the dates already sold out demand for the gigs is huge.

Jamie Cullum has married Sophie Dahl. The jazz musician and the statusque model wed last Saturday in a secret ceremony at the Lime Wood Hotel in Hampshire, a year after getting engaged. Only friends and family knew of the event - the couple had opted out of big-money offers from magazines and decided to keep it private.

Aside from the little matter of his own wedding to attend, Jamie Cullum has been preparing for his latest UK tour. It kicks off on May 7th in Glasgow’s Royal Concert Hall, before dates in venues all across the UK including London, Manchester and Birmingham.
