Jessie J to headline Capital FM Jingle Bell Ball Sunday show

Jessie J will headline the second day of this year’s Capital FM Jingle Bell Ball in London, it has been confirmed.

The UK star will join a line-up consisting of the likes of One Direction, Ed Sheeran, JLS, The Saturdays, Wretch 32 and Emeli Sande on the Sunday night of the event. The Saturday line-up will star Rihanna, Calvin Harris, Olly Murs, The Wanted, Pixie Lott, Labrinth and Jason Derulo.

This year’s Capital FM Jingle Bell Ball will take place at London’s O2 Arena on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th December.

Ed Sheeran has been confirmed for the second day of this year’s Capital FM Jingle Bell Ball, and will be joined by JLS, Emeli Sande, One Direction, The Saturdays and Wretch 32 at the Sunday show.

The final act will be revealed on Monday morning.

Earlier this week, Rihanna, Olly Murs, The Wanted, Pixie Lott, Calvin Harris, Jason Derulo and Labrinth were confirmed to perform on the Saturday, 3rd December.

Capital FM Jingle Bell Ball tickets for the show on Sunday 4th December will go on sale on Monday, with tickets to the Saturday show on sale now.

Rihanna has been confirmed as the headline act for the first night of this year’s Capital FM Jingle Bell Ball. The singer, who is currently touring her latest album, Loud, will top the line-up on Saturday 3rd December.

The US star will join the previously announced Olly Murs, The Wanted, Pixie Lott, Jason Derulo, Calvin Harris and Labrinth.

The show will mark Rihanna’s eleventh appearance at London’s O2 Arena this year.

In previous years, the Jingle Bell Ball has featured performances from the likes of JLS, The Saturdays and the Black Eyed Peas.

US RnB star Jason Derulo has confirmed a UK arena tour for February and March 2012. The singer rose to fame in 2010 after the release of his debut album, and the success of singles such as Whatcha Say and In My Head. He has recently released his second album, Future History.

The singer will begin his 2012 tour with a show at Glasgow SECC on 23rd February, and will go on to perform at venues such as Birmingham LG Arena, Cardiff Motorpoint Arena, Manchester MEN Arena and Wembley Arena in London.

A host of big names have been confirmed for the 2011 BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards. The show will take place at Wembley Arena in London on 9th October 2011.

The line-up for the event was announced today, with Pixie Lott headlining, supported by performances from the likes of X Factor stars One Direction and Cher Lloyd. Jason Derulo, Joe Jonas and Ed Sheeran will also appear.

The Teen Awards are staged to celebrate the achievements of inspirational young people, as well as honouring music, sport and entertainment stars. The entire show will be broadcast live on BBC Radio 1 and streamed online.

BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards tickets will go on sale Saturday 24th September.

T4 Stars Of 2011 line-up confirmed

The first acts set to perform at the T4 Stars Of 2011 concert have now been confirmed. Jessie J, The Wanted, Professor Green, Wretch 32 will all take part in this year’s event, with more acts set to be announced in the coming weeks.

The concert will take place at London’s Earl’s Court on 11th December, and will also feature appearances from the cast of Hollyoaks and Made In Chelsea.

2010′s event featured performances from JLS, Tinie Tempah, Pixie Lott, Jason Derulo, The Saturdays and Example with the show being broadcast on T4 and 4Music.

Shontelle has confirmed that she is set to team up with Jason Derulo for a new track. The singer recently supported Derulo throughout his UK tour.

Shontelle told The Daily Star: ‘We want to go to Miami and do it as soon as possible together.

‘Maybe we’ll do a trade-off and write a song for each other.’

Following the recent Jason Derulo UK tour, the star is said to be taking some time off in order to rest his voice.

Jason Derulo is set to begin his UK tour next month, and the support act has now been confirmed. Shontelle will join the US star, who will begin the jaunt at Bournemouth International Centre on the 17th.

Shontelle, an RnB singer hailing from Barbados, released her debut album Shontelligence in November 2008. Her second album, No Gravity, was released in September 2010.

This weekend the O2 Arena plays host to Capital FM’s charity event, the Jingle Bell Ball. The event runs for two nights, on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th December, and is in aid of the charity Help A London Child. The show on Saturday 4th December will be headlined by The Script and The Black Eyed Peas. Today could well be the last chance for music fans to get their hands on Capital FM’s Summertime Ball tickets. The event takes place on Sunday 6th June at Wembley Stadium, London and boasts a line-up full of some of the biggest acts in music.

JLS, Cheryl Cole, Usher, Rihanna, Ke$ha, Dizzee Rascal, Scouting for Girls, Pixie Lott, Chipmunk, Jason Derulo, Alexandra Burke, Tinie Tempah and Justin Bieber have all been confirmed to perform.

There are still thousands of Capital FM’s Summertime Ball tickets yet to be sold on the secondary ticket market and prices are falling. The Summertime Ball will take place at Wembley Stadium on Sunday 6th June 2010.

JLS, Cheryl Cole, Usher, Rihanna, Ke$ha, Dizzee Rascal, Scouting for Girls, Pixie Lott, Chipmunk, Jason Derulo, Alexandra Burke, Tinie Tempah and Justin Bieber have all been confirmed to perform.

Derulo met the group last week, after watching them perform at the Hammersmith Apollo as part of their UK tour. A source close to the singer said, “He caught up with the guys after the show as JLS’ Marvin has said that he wants the band to break the US and be as big success as Jason has over there.”
