The concerts begin this Friday in the grounds of London’s beautiful Kenwood House. Jones, who has sold over 100 million records, will perform classic songs from his career including Burning Down The House, Sex Bomb and Mama Told Me Not To Come, as well as tracks from his latest album, Praise and Blame. The international favourite will then take his show to the other venue of the concert series, Audley End, Essex, on July 30th.

The English Heritage Picnic Concerts offer the rare opportunity to relax with a picnic at two of Britain’s most stunning country houses, whilst enjoying world-class music. Other artists set to appear at the concert series include The Saturdays, James Blunt, Scouting For Girls, and Jools Holland. Holland, famous for his exciting jazz and blues concerts, said of the event, “My orchestra and I are delighted to return to the English Heritage Picnic Concerts 2011. Having performed at Kenwood House in 2009, I know what an immense pleasure it is to be on stage at such a spectacular event with fantastic live music at one of the most magical settings in Britain and certainly in North London.”

Kenwood Picnic Concerts tickets are on sale now, for each of the five evenings of the festival, which will all take place on a Saturday. Prices begin at £30 from Gigantic, while full listings of all gigs are below:
