Lady GaGa is widely expected to be close to confirming details of a 2012 World tour. Lady GaGa tickets could go on sale withing the next few weeks.

Canadian star Bieber will join the likes of Lady Gaga, Coldplay, Jessie J, Bruno Mars, Snow Patrol, David Guetta, LMFAO and Red Hot Chili Peppers in performing at the spectacle.

Speaking about the event, the singer stated, “It’s really exciting to be a part of the MTV EMA this year. I can’t wait to get to Belfast.”

UK band Coldplay will perform at the show on the back of the release of their number one album, Mylo Xyloto, and are nominated for Best Live Act, Best Rock Act and best UK and Ireland Act. The group will go on to perform headline arena shows this December.

The track was remixed by the band’s frontman Hayden Thorpe, with help from producer and musician Jon Hopkins, after they were asked to produce a remix by Lady Gaga’s management. Thorpe told NME: “It’s such a bizarre unlikely thing that I was really drawn into it. That ‘What the f***?’ element is really invigorating in a way. The song is more Shania Twain or Sheryl Crow-esque than Lady Gaga, so that was even more of a draw. Legendary singer Bennett, who has been singing to fans for over sixty years, made the comments following his collaboration with the Poker Face singer for his new album Duets II. In an interview with Billboard, the former Smiths front-man was asked about the emergence of artists such as GaGa.

There are just 1000 sales between Bon Iver’s long-awaited second album, Bon Iver, and Lady Gaga’s Born This Way. Take That’s Progress and both of Adele’s albums 19 and 21 all remain in the top ten once more. Bon Iver, fronted by Justin Vernon, released their second album on June 21st. It represents a new musical direction for the band, with saxophones and eighties drums creating a more rounded, layered sound, departing from the raw, simple structure of the first album For Emma, Forever Ago.

Bon Iver are touring the UK this autumn, beginning with Manchester’s O2 Apollo on October 19th.

Lady Gaga has released the video for new single ‘The Edge of Glory’ early.

‘The edge Of Glory’ is the third single from Gaga’s album ‘Born This Way’ which was released on the 23rd of May. The single features saxophonist Clarence Clemons, who is known as a prominent member in Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band and who recently suffered a stroke.

Gaga decided to release the the video, which features Clemons, early as a tribute to the recovering saxophonist.

The video is directed by Haus of Gaga ” fashion from the last collection of the legendary Gianni Versace.” You can watch the video online.

The dress, worn by Gaga to the 2010 MTV movie awards, generated widespread controversy. Cher believes that her track with the rap icon is an ‘anthem for my generation’. Cher releases her first single ‘Swagger Jagger’ in just under two weeks and her debut album later this year.

Cher is quick to enforce that she has been heavily involved in the writing of her first album” It’s a big part of being an artist. If you can’t sit with someone and write your own tracks, what’s the point of doing it? They’re not your songs. They’re someone else’s.”

Lady Gaga has confirmed a ‘Born This Way’ tour.

Gaga told MTV that she would begin rehearsing for the tour at the end of this year with the aim to performing at the beginning of 2012. Actual dates are still to be confirmed but judging by the enormity of her previous ‘Monster Ball’ tour we’re in for a treat. In the interview she likened touring to a marathon saying “If your running a marathon, and you’re about to cross the finish line, you don’t stop and say ‘Oh, once I cross it it’s over’. You run as fast as you can to get there as quickly as you can,’ concluding that ‘It’s time for another marathon’

Arctic Monkeys fourth album ‘Suck It And See’ went straight in at number one.

The Arctic Monkeys are the second band in chart history to have four of their albums go straight in at number one. They have knocked Lady Gaga off her perch at the tope of the chart.  Following Adele’s phenomenal run at the top of the charts earlier this year it shows that “Birtish talent is clearly in very good health indeed”

Lady Gaga is auctioning her prize possession her one-of-a-kind grand Steinway piano for charity.

The singer uses the piano to compose her music and also in performances. She last used the piano at in a New York Gig playing hits from her new album ‘Born This Way’. Gaga has signed the piano for the auction where all the proceeds will go to Ten O’Clock Classics, a charity which provides classical music venues and classes for young aspiring musicians.

Lady Gaga has again shocked the world by saying that any song ever written is about sex ” Sex is an inspiration for everyone and i don’t think there is one song that’s ever been written that sex wasn’t apart of.”
