isPermaLink="false">http://www.tixdaq.com/news/?p=25419</guid> <description><![CDATA[Latitude Festival announces yet more acts including, music, comedy, film and theatre performances.]]></description> <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Already boasting one of the best festival line-ups of the summer,<strong> Latitude Festival</strong> yesterday revealed yet more artists who would be pitching up their tents in the long grasses of Henham Park this July.</p><p>The festival has already announced headline acts like; <strong>Bon Iver, Elbow</strong> and <strong>Paul Weller</strong>, but had kept back a few suprises for closer the time. New acts across a variety of stages were yesterday released, with some highlights being; <strong>Catherine AD, Slow Club, King Charles, Smoke Fairies</strong> and <strong>Of Monsters And Men</strong>.</p><p>At The Lake Stage, BBC Radio 1 DJ and champion of new music, Huw Stephens has been asked to curate his own line-up. Headline slots go to sonically challenging, electro-indie group <strong>Clock Opera</strong>, while other acts include:</p><p><strong>Los Campesinos! </strong>/<strong> Herman Düne </strong>/<strong> Alt-J </strong>/<strong> Lucy Rose </strong>/<strong> Seye </strong>/<strong> The Crookes </strong>/<strong> Kwes </strong>/<strong> Weird Dreams </strong>/<strong> POLIÇA </strong>/<strong> Tall Ships </strong>/<strong> Hooray for Earth </strong>/<strong> Tim Ten Yen </strong>/<strong> Theme Park </strong>/<strong> The Cast of Cheers </strong>/<strong> Cate Le Bon </strong>/<strong> Sam Airey </strong>/ <strong>Peace.</strong></p><p>Alongside all the top notch musical activity, Latitude has proved its diversity, by including a number of other productions, including film, theatre and comedy.</p><p>Sadler’s Wells will present an excerpt from the hugely popular Sadler’s  Wells Production, <strong>The Most Incredible Thing</strong> on The Waterfront Stage. A collaboration between pop legends Pet Shop Boys and  choreographer/director Javier De Frutos, The Most Incredible Thing, won  the Evening Standard’s inaugural Beyond Theatre Award after its premiere  in 2011, and recently enjoyed a return run at the theatre this spring.</p><p>On the Film and Music Arena Turner Prize-winning artist Jeremy Deller and  co-director Nick Abraham present their new film <strong>The Bruce Lacey  Experience</strong>. Three years in the making, the film examines Lacey’s  remarkable legacy as an all-round cultural chameleon. The screening will be followed by  a Q&amp;A with Jeremy Deller. The Royal Albert Hall arrives at  Latitude presenting the innovative violinist <strong>Hahn-Bin</strong>. One of  the world’s most exciting and original classical musicians, Hahn-Bin is  not only a prodigious talent but a style visionary who recently graced  the cover of fashion bible i-D Magazine. Hahn-Bin recently launched The Renaissance  of Classical Music, a project which aims to bring the style into mainstream culture.</p><p>In the Comedy Arena, <strong>Jack Dee</strong>, <strong>Brian Cox</strong>, <strong>Tim Minchin</strong> and others  will be joined by <strong>Phill Jupitus</strong>, as well as multi award-winning, fringe sell-out, mind  reader who can’t read minds, <strong>Chris Cox</strong> and revered Canadian stand-up <strong>Tony Law</strong> will  be regaling audiences with his time travelling exploits in the company  of his infamous sausage dog.</p><p>With the <a

isPermaLink="false">http://www.tixdaq.com/news/?p=25127</guid> <description><![CDATA[With Social Distortion and Less Than Jake headlining the Lock Up stage.....]]></description> <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Los Campesinos!, Gallows and Trash Talk are among the new additions to the line-up for this summer&#8217;s Reading and Leeds Festivals</p><p>The event, which runs from August 24 – 26, will see the Welsh indie pop  band open the Main Stage on Saturday (August 25) at Reading and Sunday  at Leeds (August 26). They play beneath the Mystery Jets and Blood Red Shoes.</p><p>Social Distortion and Less Than Jake will headline the Lock Up stage. The stage is hosted by BBC Radio 1’s Mike Davies, presenter of the Punk Show.</p><p>He said: &#8220;Having an incredible Punk Rock line-up every summer has  become a standard for the Lock Up Stage. isPermaLink="false">http://www.tixdaq.com/news/?p=21861</guid> <description><![CDATA[Gareth Campesinos! talks of finishing their new record ]]></description> <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>It has been revealed today that Welsh enigmatic indie rockers Los Campesinos! have all but completed work on their third record.</p><p>The band&#8217;s frontman Gareth Campesinos! wrote on their blog &#8220;I know that a lot of people get frustrated during the period of time between an album being declared “finished” and the album’s actual release, so I thought I’d let you know what’s going on at the moment.&#8221;</p><p>&#8220;Right now, our main man and sound guru, Tom is exchanging final mixes with producer John Goodmanson, pruning every last note and drum hit tom make sure every soug sounds as perfect as it can.&#8221;</p><p>He went on to comment that this mastering process will begin next week and although he did not reveal an estimate of a release date for the band&#8217;s third record, it is expected that it will be out in the near the future.</p><p>Stay tuned for news of <strong><a
