Gary Barlow and Tulisa will cover Massive Attack’s Teardrop along with Wretch 32, Tinchy Stryder and Chipmunk. Tulisa told Radio 1′s Fern Cotton that, “[It's] good to be back with the grime crew, the urban family. The track itself is really different but current and I think it’s going to work.”

The fundraising single will be released just before the Children in Need programme airs on November 18th. Tulisa and Gary Barlow’s role on the X Factor judging panel will continue meanwhile. The X Factor will also be touring the UK in early 2012.

Mexican duo Rodrigo y Gabriela have been announced as another UK exclusive headline act, while The Chemical Brothers are also confirmed to play.

The Big Chill is to take place at Eastnor Castle Deer Park in Herefordshire between August 4 and August 7. Previous headliners include Massive Attack and Lily Allen.

The ‘Number One’ singer was due to perform the first date of the band’s U.K Arena tour in Doncaster before the vibrant female fan decided on the unorthodox way of meeting her hero.

Recalling the incident to The Sun, Dappy – real name Dino Contostavlos – said: “It was mental – check out the massive red mark she left on my ear. She leaned in for a hug, before going ‘Raaaah!!’ and getting me in a scary headlock. Then she just bit into my ear. It hurt so much, man!

“Then our security stepped in, put her in some mad lock and took her away. It does scare me, stuff like that, but that’s what we set out to be with N-Dubz – that pandemonium.”

Dappy, who earlier this month was mugged in a restaurant toilet, recently described N-Dubz fans as being “obsessed”.

Pendulum, James Blake and PJ Harvey will play the festival, curated by Rob Da Bank. Taking place from the 8th to the 11th of September, previous headliners at the Bestival include Massive Attack and The Flaming Lips.

The festival will also include DJ sets from Fatboy Slim and Radio 1′s Zane Lowe.

The fifth Massive Attack album album which follows 2006′s Best Of release, Collected, sees the Bristol duo collaborating with artists such as Damon Albarn of Blur, Martina Topley-Bird, Guy Garvey, Tunde Adebimpe and  their good friend, Horace Andy.

As well as revealing the album details, Massive Attack confirmed that they are set to play three UK shows to support the release of Heligoland. Massive Attack are scheduled to play shows at Newport Centre on February 8, Brighton Dome on February 9 and the Hammersmith HMV Apollo on February 11.

Britain’s Andy Murray has won the opening match at the ATP World Tour Finals in London’s O2 Arena, against US Open champion Juan Martin del Potro.

The 22-year-old from Dunblane took the lead in the round-robin phase in Group A, winning 6-3, 3-6, 6-2 in front of over 17,000 spectators.  The ATP World Tour Finals, an end-of-season tournament for the top eight seeded players, are being held in London for the first time, in a residency at the O2 Arena which will last until at least 2012.

The Clash’s London Calling came tearing out of the loudspeakers as the players walked on, and there was a collective sharp intake of breath when Del Potro asked for a timeout only three games into the match – which thankfully turned out to be nothing worse than to stem a troublesome nosebleed.  Del Potro recovered to test properly Murray’s defensive skills, although the Scot’s broad range of defensive and attacking play, not to mention his cool demeanour, meant Murray took the first set 6-3.

Del Potro bounced back in the second, finally finding his groove to take an early break in a set which saw four breaks of serve in total, the last going to Del Potro with one of his massive forehands to take the second set 6-3.

But Murray’s level-headedness remained, as he broke Del Potro in the second game of the third set and rattled off his service game to love.  At 3-0 up Murray applied full throttle and broke again to win the third and final set convincingly at 6-2.

Murray will play Roger Federer next, on Tuesday November 24th.  Federer beat Fernando Verdasco in first evening session at the O2 on Sunday night, struggling to find his feet at first to lose the first set 4-6, before recovering to win the second and third, for the match, at 7-5, 6-1.  Before that match Murray said he was already looking forward to taking on the winner, regardless of who it was, and it’s possible Federer’s faltering in the first third of his match will give Murray enough of a toehold to control the match as he did on Sunday afternoon.

A host of top acts including Klaxons, Elbow, Lily Allen and Massive Attack are currently preparing for this weekend’s Bestival. The festival takes place at Robin Hill on the Isle of Wight and is set to kick off this Friday.

The 2009 Bestival sold out at the box office within days of going on sale. However, tickets remain available to compare at Tixdaq.com. Earlier this month, a statement on the official website for the Reading and Leeds Festival announced that flags were not allowed to be brought into the main arena, in order to allow ticket holders the best possible view.

Some have opposed the ban, claiming that the wave of colours was a main feature of the festivals, and that the flags had some practical implications such as being used as a meeting point in the sea of people. However, others may be thrilled with the flag ban, especially those who have had their views obstructed by flags in the past.

Now it seems Glastonbury may implement the flag ban next year after conversations were held between Michael Eavis, the Glastonbury festival chief, and Melvin Benn, the head of Festival Republic.

Melvin Benn, who runs the Reading and Leeds Festivals and also helps to organise Glastonbury, reflected on this year’s Glastonbury festival, which was held in June, and claimed that there was poor visibility of the acts on stage because of the number of flags.

Melvin Benn continued to say that there had always been flags at festivals but not to the extent as now, where flags had become very long and tall and there were more flags now than ever before.

For now, no official decision on a flag ban at Glastonbury has been made, and despite some protests against the flag ban at the Reading and Leeds Festival 2009, event organisers have failed to respond.

Despite the summer months coming to an end marking the end of the festival season, there are still plenty of festivals to look forward to in the UK.

Of course, the Reading and Leeds Festival is still to come, taking place at Reading Richfield Avenue and Leeds Bramham Park from August 28-30, headlined by Arctic Monkeys, Radiohead and Kings of Leon.

However if dance is more your taste in music, you can check out Creamfields 2009 which takes place at the Halston Daresbury Estate from August 29-30 where you can catch Basement Jaxx, Dizzee Rascal and Calvin Harris in action.

Get Loaded In The Park is one of the last of the biggest festivals that take place in the capital, and is happening at London Clapham Common on August 30, featuring Orbital, Royksopp, VV Brown, and a DJ set from Pendulum.

Bestival 2009 is one of the last festivals to feature some chart-toppping acts such as Elbow, Massive Attack, Lily Allen, Florence and the Machine, and Little Boots. Bestival 2009 is taking place at the Isle of Wight Robin Hill Adventure Park from September 11-13.
