Time is running out to catch Nickelback on their latest UK tour. Following their hugely successful 2009 tour which climaxed at the O2 Arena, Nickelback are back in the UK this month to perform two more shows for their British fans.

Nickelback are set to perform shows at Liverpool Echo Arena on January 17 followed by Wembley Arena on January 19, before heading off to Hamburg to play at the Color Line Arena. Second Black Stone Cherry tour announced for this year

Black Stone Cherry will be touring the UK for the second time this year in October having already released tour dates for shows in June.

The second Black Stone Cherry tour will take place at the Birmingham O2 Academy (October 10), Newcastle O2 Academy (October 19), Bristol O2 Academy (October 21) and the Oxford O2 Academy (October 24).

Black Stone Cherry tickets for the new October shows will go on general sale on Friday May 22 at 9am.

Fans can expect Black Stone Cherry to perform songs from their current album Folklore and Superstition, which was released in August 2008.

However, if fans don’t want to wait until October to catch Black Stone Cherry in action, you can see them as support acts for Nickelback on their current UK tour for the album Dark Horse.

Nickelback are on tour now and are still set to play at the London O2 Arena on May 28 and the Sheffield Hallam FM Arena on May 29.

Also, Black Stone Cherry will feature at the Download Festival at the Derby Donington Park taking place from June 12-14.

Chad Kroeger and his fellow members of rock group, Nickelback, have today announced that they will play 5 huge arena dates next spring. Nickelback, who last toured the UK earlier this year, have confirmed their 2009 tour will begin on May 22nd in Manchester. Nickelback’s UK visit includes shows in Glasgow and London. Tickets go on sale this Friday.

Leona Beats Dido to Top Spot

This week, X-Factor winner, Leona Lewis managed to fend off competition from Dido to claim the UK album chart title. As many had predicted, the re-release of Leona’s debut album, Spirit entered the chart at number one. Dido’s latest record, Safe Trip Home took the second spot and Nickelback’s, Dark Horse was the third highest new entry at number four.

Leona will be hoping to hold on to the number one sport, but she will face competition from a fellow X-Factor contestant. Last year’s runner-up, Rhydian, releases his self-titled debut album this week.

Rhydian has recently announced a 15 date 2009 tour which kicks-off in Nottingham on May 1st. The 15 night jaunt comes to an end some three weeks later in Bournemouth. Last year’s winner, Leon Jackson is also on tour next May as he embarks on his first UK tour since winning the reality TV show.
