Adele, Justin Bieber and 30 Seconds To Mars are each shortlisted for three awards, whilst on the back of the announcement of a December 2011 Coldplay UK tour, the band have been nominated for best UK and Ireland act.

The 18th Annual MTV EMA’s will take place at Belfast’s Odyssey Arena on November 6th, with the ceremony set to be broadcast live on MTV.

Ok Go played their version of The Muppet Theme Song, watch below, which is the lead track of the new album of Muppets cover songs, which also features the likes of Weezer and Paramore.

Ok Go performed at this year’s Glastonbury but they do not have any forthcoming UK dates.

As soon as new Ok Go tour dates are confirmed they will be available here.

In an interview with Rockzone, Williams stated that “We have written four new songs and they are quite diverse. There are some heavier songs, but there’s also one that we plan to play live soon that is called ‘In The Morning Mess’.”

She also told of how the band are changing direction and how fans can expect new things from the band.

“We, as a band, will always try to evolve and try new things. It will be different for sure, but it will still keep Paramore’s essence.”

Fans are hopeful that Paramore will be announcing news of a new tour soon.

The band recently dropped brothers Josh and Zac Farro, but it seems this hasn’t stopped the recording process beginning.

Paramore’s guitarist Taylor York recently tweeted, “Good afternoon (or whatever time of day it is wherever you may be). Day number 2 of recording. Super stoked. Sounding good! Yeahyeahyeahyeah.”

Although the line-up will not be announced until next year, the festival is again set to be a massive hit with fans.

They headline Reading and Leeds Festival 2010 this summer, but news of their own tour will be music to the ears of their fans. Having collaborated with the likes of David Bowie in the past, this represents yet another incredible landmark in the career of the band.

Last week they played two gigs at Madison Square Garden, which were filmed by former Monty Python star Terry Gilliam and broadcast live on YouTube, and those fans fortunate enough to attend the intimate show at Hackney Empire in London earlier this summer witnessed something very special indeed.

Arcade Fire will be expected to play all their best-loved songs from albums Funeral, Neon Bible and The Suburbs: Wake Up, Rebellion (Lies), Black Mirror, No Cars Go and We Used To Wait.

There are over 1,500 Leeds Festival tickets still available to buy, including day tickets which start trading at around £70 each. Leeds Festival tickets officially sold out from primary ticket vendors within two hours of going on sale earlier this year.

Paramore will kick off the tour at Nottingham Trent FM Arena on Monday 8th November and will stop off at Liverpool, Sheffield, London, Birmingham and Newcastle before their final UK performance of the year at Aberdeen Exhibition Centre on Saturday 20th November.

Paramore tickets are available for two consecutive shows at London’s O2 Arena, on the 13th and 15th November, with prices starting at £24. Ticket prices for all other shows start at £22 each.

Paramore tickets went on sale this morning for their UK tour later in the year, and with the band already playing Leeds and Reading Festival, they will play live in Britain multiple times in 2010.

The forthcoming UK tour follows their sold out arena tour at the end of 2009.

Despite the popularity of festivals in general though, Reading Festival tickets are still available for both single day tickets as well as full weekend camping passes for the festival.

For those who need more than a mere three days of festival revelry, early entry tickets are available from £29 from Ticketmaster subsidiary GetMeIn.

Friday day tickets are on sale from £75, from SeeTickets.

Saturday day tickets can also be found from £114 from Seatwave.

Sunday day tickets are still available from Chelsea and Man Utd’s ticket partner Viagogo from £108.

Weekend tickets are on sale at GetMeIn from £225.

Weekend tickets include camping passes in their price, but day tickets only allow access to the arena.

Despite the popularity of festivals in general though, Leeds Festival tickets are still available for both day tickets and the full weekend of the festival.

Should you want that extra day soaking up the festival atmosphere, early entry tickets are available from £30 from Seatwave.

Friday day tickets are on sale from £98.50, again from Seatwave, with Ticketmaster subsidiary GetMeIn offering tickets from £99.

Saturday day tickets can also be found from £99 from Manchester United and Chelsea’s official ticketing partner Viagogo.

Sunday day tickets are still available from SeeTickets from £75.

Weekend tickets are on sale at Viagogo from £203, with camping included in the price of the ticket.

Joan Jett is most famous for her work in Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, with whom she topped the American billboard charts, but also enjoyed success in first band The Runaways.

Frank Turner is also a rock superstar. Having crafted out a considerably successful career with hardcore band Million Dead, he has reinvented himself as an energetic acoustic artist. Turner’s songs resonate with feeling, and many people relate to his lyrics.

Those who have tickets to Green Day’s Dublin concert at Marlay Park have a slight variation. In addition to Joan Jett, Paramore will open for Green Day in the Irish capital.

Fortunately, Green Day tickets are still available for all these dates – as well as their concert at Paris’ Parc des Princes. Prices begin at £20 for the Lancashire County Cricket Club date – which is substantially less than the face value £29.

In addition, there are over 1000 Wembley tickets still on sale, with Seatwave tickets the best priced at £33.

Paramore will go on to perform at Sheffield Hallam FM Arena, London’s O2 Arena, Birmingham LG Arena, Newcastle Metro Radio Arena before ending the jaunt on the 20th November at Aberdeen Exhibition Centre.

This week’s other high new entries in the album chart came from Newton Faulkner, Barbra Streisand and Ian Brown.

Newton Faulkner’s follow up to Hand Built By Robots called Rebuilt By Humans entered the chart at number three, Barbra Streisand came in at number four with Love Is The Answer whilst My Way by Ian Brown entered the album chart this week at number eight.

Paramore recorded the soundtrack Decode for Twilight starring British actor Robert Pattinson, with many fans eagerly anticipating the second installment called New Moon.

However, lead singer Hayley Williams explains that Paramore declined the opportunity to record the follow up to Decode because she did not want Paramore to be referred to as the ‘movie band’.

Hayley Williams said she would rather leave the opportunity to record the movie soundtrack to another band, rather than capitalising on the success from the movie industry.

Hayley Williams also revealed that the band were asked to record for the Transformers 2 movie, but would rather focus on their own album to promote.

Paramore release their third studio album Brand New Eyes this week and coincides with the upcoming tour of major UK arenas this December.

The Paramore tour kicks off at the Glasgow SECC and Clyde Auditorium (December 10) and will also be playing at the Birmingham National Indoor Arena (December 11), Cardiff International Arena (December 14), Manchester Evening News Arena (December 16) and the Brighton Centre (December 17) before drawing the tour to a close at the London Wembley Arena (December 18).
