Multi-platinum rock band, Incubus, will give us a taste of their new album ‘ If Not Now, When’ on June the 14th when they play a special gig at the HMV Forum.

‘If Not Now, When’ is the sixth album from Incubus, which will be released on July the 11th. The band have had legendary producer Brendan O’Brien (Bob Dylan and Pearl Jam) work with them on the album.

Lead singer Brandon Boyd admitted that this album was on a different path to previous albums and would challenge their fans :  ”This new record is different from anything that we’ve done,”  Rumours suggest the album is slightly more spacey and psychedelic compared to their earlier material.

Incubus tickets have gone on sale TODAY.

“We did a whole bunch of demos and everybody’s got a disc of 25 [songs] right now,” he said. “April will be the time where we get together and learn to play all these demos and figure out which 12 to 15 of them float to the top. Hopefully we can get something done this year.”

Pearl Jam look set to release the new record by the end of 2011. The latest Pearl Jam UK tour plans are expected to be revealed following the release of the new album.

However, why not be that little bit more adventurous and make a trip of it? Rock Werchter, located approximately 20 miles from Brussels, Belgium has one of the best line-ups around. It is headlined by Faithless, Muse, Green Day, Editors, Rammstein, Pink, Pearl Jam, and Arcade Fire, and the list of acts across the stages is as consistently excellent as that list.

Rock Werchter Festival tickets are available now, with weekend tickets prices beginning at £221 from Seatwave.

Hard Rock Calling will take place in London’s Hyde Park from 25th June to 27th June and this year, the festivals fourth, it can boast some of the biggest names in music. Stevie Wonder and Sir Paul McCartney have also been confirmed as headliners.

Pearl Jam tickets for their Hard Rock Calling performance are currently trading between £34 and £380 with the cheapest tickets listed on fan-to-fan exchange website, Seatwave. All tickets are general admission, granting holders full access to that day of the festival.

Hard Rock Calling tickets have been falling in price in recent weeks, with tickets to see Paul McCartney on the final day of the festival, Sunday 27th June, now trading from £32. In fact, it is cheaper to buy Paul McCartney tickets for his Hard Rock Calling performance than to buy tickets for any of his scheduled stadium shows. With a general admission day ticket, fans will gain full entry to the festival and can also witness performances from the likes of Crowded House, Elvis Costello and Crosby, Stills and Nash.

Hard Rock Calling takes place in Hyde Park from Friday 25th June to Sunday 27th June. Hard Rock Calling tickets for Pearl Jam’s headline performance on the Friday can also be picked up for £32. Saturday tickets for Stevie Wonder’s headline appearance start at £45.

Download Festival tickets are still available, despite the event getting under way tomorrow. Download weekend tickets are currently available on the secondary ticket market for less than £150. Music fans with download tickets will have the chance to witness headline performances from AC/DC, Rage Against the Machine and Aerosmith. This year’s line up also includes Deftones, Motorhead, Slash, 30 Seconds to Mars, Bullet For My Valentine, The Blackout and A Day to Remember.

Hop Farm Festival tickets are also trading below face value. Hop Farm Festival may not be the most talked about festival of the summer, but it will this year play host to the likes of Bob Dylan, Pete Doherty, Van Morrison, Laura Marling and Seasick Steve. The festival takes place in Tonbridge this July and day tickets cost around £45 each, with camping tickets costing £25 on top of that.

Swedish garage rock band The Hives are a replacement for Wolfmother, who pulled out because of illness. Friday 25th June Hard Rock Calling tickets are available from £35 through trusted ticket vendor Seatwave. VIP Experience tickets are available for the same day for £537.94.

Fans with Isle of Wight Festival tickets can expect big things this summer, with a line-up that could be considered one of the best festival bills of the summer. The event will be headlined by Jay-Z, The Strokes and Paul McCartney and there will also be appearances across the weekend from the likes of  Florence and the Machine, Blondie, Calvin Harris and Biffy Clyro.

Isle of Wight festival weekend with camping tickets can be picked up on the secondary ticket market for around £185. Alternatively, weekend tickets without camping can be bought for as little as £120.

Hard Rock Calling tickets:

Although only in it’s fourth year in 2010, Hard Rock Calling is quickly establishing itself as one of the best London festivals of the year. This year, as well as his Isle of Wight appearance, Paul McCartney will be headlining, along with Pearl Jam and Stevie Wonder. Perhaps a festival aimed more at the younger generation of festival goers, the Reading and Leeds festival boasts a huge line-up that can surely compete with that of Glastonbury. Blink 182, The Libertines, Guns N’ Roses, Arcade Fire, Dizzee Rascal and Cypress Hill will all be appearing on the main stage throughout the weekend.

Expect to pay around £230 on the secondary ticket market for a weekend ticket with camping to either Reading or Leeds. Considering the face value price was around £190 when the tickets went on sale a few months ago, it is well worth spending the extra few pounds to take advantage of the fantastic line-up.

Hop Farm Festival may not be the most talked about festival of the summer, but it will this year play host to the likes of Bob Dylan, Pete Doherty, Van Morrison, Laura Marling and Seasick Steve. Although no act has been confirmed for the Download Festival yet, in December AC/DC announced on their official website they were playing the festival, only for it to be taken down minutes later. Eddie Vedder and the rest of Pearl Jam will play at the London O2 Shepherds Bush Empire on August 11

Pearl Jam are already set to perform at two major UK arenas as part of their European tour but will now also play a much more smaller venue for a more intimate atmosphere to their live show.

It was already announced at the end of April this year that Pearl Jam were going to perform at the Manchester Evening News Arena (August 17) and the London O2 Arena (August 18).

However, it has now been announced that Pearl Jam will also perform at the London O2 Shepherds Bush Empire on August 11.

Pearl Jam tickets for the new show will go on general sale on Thursday July 23 at 9am.

Pearl Jam are also set to release their ninth studio album titled Backspacer in September featuring the new single The Fixer.

Backspacer was produced by Brendan O’Brian, who worked with Pearl Jam for their 1998 album Yield and has also recently also worked with Bruce Springsteen.

Pearl Jam spoke of how in the past, they and Brendan O’Brian did not agree sometimes on how a song should sound, but now Brendan O’Brian was one of the very few people outside the band they could trust with their music and they like how honest he is when it comes to deciding what is good and what is bad.

Pearl Jam decided it was time to work with him again since Bruce Springsteen had recently listened to his ideas.

Pearl Jam have recently confirmed two massive arena shows which are set to take place in Manchester and London this August. Pearl Jam will perform at the Manchester Evening News Arena on August 17 and London O2 Arena on August 18.
