He told the Daily Mirror, “I want a big ballad like her,’ he said. ‘She really inspires me.”

“I’ve got a voice so I want to make sure I do something huge on the piano. I want to do an Angels like Robbie Williams.”

Whether or not Dappy does repeat a ‘Robbie Williams’ remains to be seen. Once he has made his forthcoming new record fans are hopeful he will tour to support it, although no dates have been confirmed as of yet.

In an interview with the BBC Robbie admitted, ”It’s weird because it’s the last show, there’s the five of us and we don’t know what’s happening afterwards. There’s going to be over-sentimentality from me, and tears, and it’s just a weird, weird feeling that this whole trip  is coming to an end.”

Take That finished their European tour last week and Robbie has revealed that he will return to his solo work but it is unclear as to whether or not the band will get back together for another tour in the future.

Robbie put a video on his blog of Noel Gallagher’s new single The Death of You and Me and posted, ‘I know it’s pretty redundant, but I’d love to write with him.” This is rather surprising considering their very confrontational relationship which came to its peak in the mid 90s.

As of yet Noel has not commented on Robbie’s blog, although any partnership would be unlikely. At the moment, Noel Gallagher is preparing for his solo tour this Autumn and his new album will be released on October 17th.

After playing an epic tour of the UK which included 8 triumphant shows at the Wembley Arena, Take That have now moved onto Europe. Their European tour had been forestalled by Robbie Williams’s illness however.

The band released an official statement which stated “On Friday night, Rob suffered serious food poisoning from something he had eaten after the show.  He was violently ill all night and well into the morning.  At 10am this morning, he decided to relocate to his dressing room at the stadium, in the hope that he could recover and prepare for the show.”

The band have confirmed that they will be back on track tonight with their Amsterdam show although Robbie did concede on his blog that “I’m not completely out of the woods yet… but feeling much better.”

The band were due to perform the second of two shows at Parken stadium, but were forced to let down thousands of fans after Williams was told by doctors that he was not fit to perform.

A band statement revealed, “We are truly devastated to have had to cancel tonight’s show in Denmark,

“This is the first show that we have ever had to cancel in our career as a band. It was a horrible decision to make and one we agonized over.

“The five of us then had a decision to make: Should we go on with the show without Rob or should we cancel altogether? What would be fairer to our fans? What would people want? It was a very, very difficult decision. In the end we felt that as this tour is about the five of us being back together, and about celebrating that reunion, it would be wrong to go ahead with the show.”

The band’s record breaking Progress Tour has wowed fans across Europe since May this year, and with only four shows remaining this month, it is unknown whether the Copenhagen show will be re-arranged.

It has been revealed today that after the mammoth Take That tour Robbie will return to his solo career rather than simply remaining with the group. The UK leg of the tour finishes this weekend and will be followed by further touring in Europe.

In his recent blog, Robbie has thanked critics who have “put a fire in my belly and in turn a smile on my face. I’m blessed to have them.”

Robbie also stated that he has never “felt more on my game.”

However despite the success of the Take That tour, Williams has quoted that “I have solo stuff still to do… Yes there will be a solo tour and I’m not sure where I will be going yet.”

The statement has come just after Robbie was heavily criticised during the Take That tour for swearing on stage. Williams however has remained defiant in his actions despite heavy criticism from parents who brought children to the recent Wembley gigs.

He later commented, “You have no idea how good it feels in front of 80,000 people, it’s liberating and a statement of intent.”

The world-famous boyband sung to crowds in the sold-out Hampden Park in torrential rain, with Robbie Williams describing the show as “a battle” due to the weather. He wrote on his blog: “Somehow, it galvanised the crowd and in turn that transmitted to the stage. The Hampden Roar was still intact. What a battle. It absolutely p***** down, no really p***** down. Then the fog descended. Reunited with Take That after fifteen years pursuing his solo career, Robbie is on the Take Take ‘Progress Live’ tour. They performed two nights at Dublins Croke Park over the weekend. Robbie ‘gave everything I had on Saturday and as expected your performance was better than mine (only just;)” he tweeted. Returning on Sunday night he was surprised by the support and love which welcomed him ” I wasn’t expecting what came next. I proper lost my s**t. The overwhelming good will, love, smiles, happiness, approval and acceptance beaming straight to the stage transformed me from preening peacock prima donna showman to ball of mush within seconds.”

Take That singer Robbie Williams has confessed that his religious views have changed leaving him embarrassed about some of his lyrics.

The pop star feels a little ‘silly’ singing the song ‘Bodies’  with the lyric ‘Jesus didn’t die for you’ because his views on religion have changed rendering the line ‘gibberish’. He feels wrong singing it and may change the line for the next tour ” It made sense to me at the time but it doesn’t now. Am I allowed a change of heart?”

Robbie hasn’t become a saint, quoting scripture or started attending mass regularly but he has learned to be ‘happy’ with his choices ” I haven’t found God or anything like that but she just might have found me.”

Extra tickets for Take That’s Wembley arena shows have gone on sale today.

The band are currently on their Progress UK Tour which kicked off last month. Part of the tour see’s them do a record breaking eight nights at Wembley arena.  The final stage and seating plans at Wembley have been confirmed, enabling Take That to release a limited number of extra tickets.

Robbie Williams has expressed his desire to keep Take That whole. He doesn’t want to return to his alone status but would prefer to stick with the lads and make the current reunion a permanent fixture:  “Well, it’s not too many years away from our 25th anniversary is it? Listen, whatever happens, this is something that I want to do again. There, “I said it.”

Take That kicked off their highly anticipated Progress Tour on Friday (27^th of May) to enormous applause and excitement. It is fifteen years since Robbie was on stage with the boys and the band performed as the original Take That.

Williams is only contracted to one new album and one tour with the reformed band, but clearly relations are good and they’re all back to bessie mates or are they…..  Bandmate Mark Owen said Williams was “planning to do “something himself” next year”  Perhaps it’s not all water under the bridge after all?!

The band’s performances were split into three parts: post-Robbie Williams, where the the group performed songs without the recently-returned singer, a section dedicated to Williams’ own solo career, and songs from the Take That with Williams era.

The set included the Take That hits Relight My Fire and Never Forget, while Williams’ solo songs included Rock DJ and Let Me Entertain You.

The Take That UK tour will continue with two more dates at the Stadium Of Light, before calling at venues in Manchester, Glasgow, Dublin and Cardiff. The tour concludes with an eight-night residency at Wembley Stadium in London in July.

Fellow boy-band JLS spoke to Sky News about  a recent meeting with Robbie Williams, who is known to have previously suffered from stage fright.

“At the end of the day it started with the five of them and it’s nice five of them have totally come back together to do this. You can never beat the original line up of Take That.

“We saw Robbie while we were in LA and he was saying that he’s so excited to go back on tour with the boys,” said Oritse Williams.

After weeks of rehearsals, the group will begin an incredible 29-date run in the UK, performing all of their classic songs, as well as a selection of songs from their latest album. It was recently confirmed that the group will also perform a number of hits from Robbie Williams’ solo career.

The band are expected to entertain around 1.5 million people during the stadium tour, which marks the return of Williams after 15 years away from the group. Sadly for Gary Barlow and Robbie Williams they wont be reaping the food rewards. The two chubbsters are dieting to see who can slim down the most.

It sounds like Gary might be in the lead after Robbie admitted to eating wife Aydas Birthday cake: ”I was that hungry when I got back something bad happened. The cake was liberated by me. Sorry Ayda.” Opsey-daisy eh Robbie!

The boys are completing the biggest tour to take place in UK & Ireland. Beating Micheal Jacksons record in 1988 of seven nights at Wembley Arena, the boys are going one better (literally) and doing 8! Atleast they wont be hungry.

Speaking to Music Week, the singer revealed how he was feeling ahead of the band’s first live tour with Robbie Williams in over 15 years.

“A few weeks ago I had a pre-tour panic, a bit of a meltdown, which I went through for a couple of days,’ he told Music Week magazine.

“Not much sleep, but I came through the other end and I’ve been all right since. But we’re confident with it now and I think the show’s going to be brilliant.”

Williams is intending on performing No Regrets, a song from his solo career which features the line, ‘I know they’re still talking (you’re far too short to carry weight)’, in reference to Gary’s physique.

A source told The Mirror, “It’s quite tense at the moment with the pre-tour nerves but there are also concerns about the track’s lyrics.

“Everybody knows there has been bad blood between the boys but Robbie is sure the fans will see past the song’s face value and see a more poignant meaning behind it.

“To him, it shows how much they’ve overcome, and how much it means for them to be back together again. But the boys aren’t all too sure.”

The Take That Progress Live Tour is set to begin in Sunderland later this month.

He wrote on his blog: “Hi all, I know it’s been ages since you have heard anything from me. I have been flying round the world on promo with the TT lads and loving it … amazing.

“In our down time … which hasn’t been much, I found I really liked painting – of course I then had to turn my whole garage into ‘art club’ and got all my L.A mates into it too.”

Robbie, 37, has big plans for his paintings, and is considering turning his creations into T-shirts.

Progress is the first record to reach the two million sales mark in this decade, narrowly beating Adele’s 21, which currently stands with sales of 1.86 million, reports Music Week.

In an interview in the US, Celebrity Big Brother 2 winner Mark Owen said said: “We are a team – at the moment Take That is five people, but it feels more than that. There’s a lot of people who have a relationship with us. At the beginning there was a fragility to the whole thing, but that has gone now.”

Robbie told The Sun: “Me and Gary vary in weight. We go up and down by the week. That was the day I thought, ‘Right, if you’re eating a lettuce, I’m eating half a lettuce.’

According to the News of the World, Robbie is now hoping to build on that success by signing a new solo record deal.

A source said, ‘It’s important for him to have his own solo deal because he is one of the most successful British recording artists.’

If the rumours are to be believed, the upcoming Take That UK tour could be the band’s last for a while with Robbie Williams on board.

The band will not have to consider such problems when embarking on their much-anticipated Progress Live tour this year. Speaking to popular magazine, Heat, a source said, ‘Money has been a stumbling block.

‘He wants a baby in the near future, and that’s going to be tricky enough to fit in with the upcoming Take That tour as it is.’

The much-anticipated Take That UK tour is set to begin in May, with outdoor shows taking place throughout the summer in cities such as London, Glasgow, Manchester and Dublin.

Instead of singing the opening line “Standing on the edge of forever, at the start of whatever, shouting love at the world,” Williams decided to sing “Standing on the feet of our Trevor, but our Trevor was clever, shouting love at the world.”

It is not yet known whether other Take That members were in on the act.

Elton John was seen on screen leaving Barlow a birthday message, as was fellow Take That member Robbie Williams. Mark Owen, Jason Orange and Howard Donald joined Barlow on stage for a rendition of the band’s hit single, Shine, to finish the show.

The concert was Gary Barlow’s first solo performance in over a decade, ahead of the upcoming Take That Progress Live tour. Take That will be performing a series of outdoor shows this summer, with 29 dates confirmed in Sunderland, Manchester, Cardiff, Glasgow, Dublin, Birmingham and Dublin.

Appearing on BBC Radio 2, Barlow stated: “I think even moving forward, I know we’re back with Rob right now, but we still see our future as a four-piece band.

“We see Take That as a four-piece band in general.”

Take That will release their latest single, Kidz, on 28th February. The Take That Progress Live tour will begin in May and run until July this year.

Robbie Williams has returned to the band after a 15 year absence, and is confirmed to perform solo material throughout the 2011 Progress Live tour, as well as Take That classics along with Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, Howard Donald and Jason Orange.
