It is thought that Katy’s husband and fan of the show, Russell Brand is keen for Katy to return, with a source telling the Daily Mirror, “Katy knows Russell is a big fan of the programme so she really wants to get back on it.

“She’s determined to go all out with another show-stopping performance just like last year and Russell doesn’t want to miss out either. He’s determined to be there on the night to support Katy in person.”

The live shows could coincide with October and November Katy Perry tour dates in the UK, making her appearance even more likely.

The comedian and TV presenter announced the bombshell using his Twitter account @rustyrockets.

After discussing his live plans for America – including last week’s gig in Las Vegas – Brand promised his fans back home that he would not neglect them for much longer.

“People of Britain and Ireland, I assure you I am coming soon to wreak havoc on our islands. I miss home.”

Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood dedicated his Saturday night show on Absolute Radio to Winehouse. He said: “It’s a very sad loss of a very good friend I spent many great times with.”

Perry has denied any allegations that her relationship is on the rocks, but it seems due to their very hectic schedules they are spending hardly any time together. This fact seems to be fuelling reports that they may split.

Katy Perry Joined her husband Russell Brand on the set of his new film ‘Rock of Ages’, as he dressed up like Nikki Sixx from Motley Crue.

The film sees Russell Brand playing the part of Lonny a record executive. The film also stars Alex Baldwin and Tom Cruise.

It has been reported that Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher and controversial comedian and former radio star Russell Brand are set to host a one off football radio show on talksport radio station.

Exact details of when both funny men will reignite the banter merchanary previously displayed on Russel Brand’s old Radio 2 show are still unknown.

The announcement was leaked by Russell Brand himself via his increasing popular twitter updates in which he declared ‘It’s true, myself and Britain’s favourite swearer are doing a radio special on football. Let’s hope Noel doesn’t get me in trouble/twouble.

‘Me and Gallagher will turn Talksport into the fulcrum of the revolution. If we can just get Wossy to come on as a guest a new dawn will rise.’

Fans of both Noel Gallagher and Russell Brand will have the opportunity to see them live in concert and theatre respectively in the coming months.

Noel gallagher will be touring with Oasis across the UK this summer. The Oasis tour kicks off with three shows at Heaton Park in Manchester (June 4, 6 &7). Oasis play seven further dates including performances at Sunderland Stadium of Light (June 10), Cardiff Millennium Stadium (June 12), Murrayfield Stadium in Glasgow (June 17) and Coventry’s Ricoh Arena  (July 7).
