A show insider said: “Frankie is devastated but he has broken a golden rule so producers had no option but to axe him.

“He had an extra boost from being kept in at the weekend when he thought he was going to go.

“But now his dream is officially over and he only has himself to blame.”

Following the double elimination of The Risk and Johnny Robinson this weekend, as well as the departure of Frankie, there are now only six hopefuls remaining in the competition.

The remaining contestants will all take part in next year’s X Factor Live Tour, which is set to hit UK arenas throughout February, March and April. The stars of the current series will perform hits from the show at venues such as London O2 Arena, Manchester MEN Arena and Birmingham LG Arena. X Factor tickets are on sale now.

Janet Devlin remains the bookies favourite to win the competition, despite forgetting the words during her version of the Jackson Five’s I Want You Back, whilst many viewers were shocked to find that the controversial Frankie Cocozza kept his place in the competition after being criticised for his performance yet again by the judges. Louis Walsh decribed the singer’s rendition of The Black Eyed Peas’ I Gotta Feeling as. “Really bad karaoke,” going on to say, “I don’t know how you’re still here. You’re not a rock star, you’ll never be a rock star and the only big thing about you is your hair.”

Craig Colton, Marcus Collins, Little Mix and Misha B make up the remaining contestants.

The double eviction caused a significant increase in viewing figures for the ITV show this week, with the audience peaking at around 14.2 million.

The remaining seven X Factor contestants are likely to take part in next year’s X Factor Live Tour, which is set to hit UK arenas throughout February, March and April. The stars of the current series will perform hits from the show at venues such as London O2 Arena, Manchester MEN Arena and Birmingham LG Arena. X Factor tickets are on sale now.

The music mogul is said to be keen to boost the lagging ratings of the show with the shock double eviction.

A source told the Daily Mirror: “Cowell wasn’t messing around when he spoke to them and he left them in no doubt they all needed to improve. He can’t be here because he is so busy in the States but he hopes this will help the singers and the ratings.”

The show is rumoured to be one of a series of UK outdoor shows next summer, with more Red Hot Chili Peppers concerts expected to be announced in the coming days.

The band are set to perform arena shows next month, with concerts taking place in Dublin, Belfast, London, Glasgow, Manchester, Sheffield and Birmingham in support of the release of their new record.

As well as showcasing new material, the group will also play a selection of their greatest hits.

Red Hot Chili Peppers tickets for the Croke Park show will go on sale next Friday, 4th November, with tickets to the band’s UK arena shows on sale now.

The band, who reformed last week after a 15-year hiatus, are rumoured to begin the jaunt at Liverpool’s Echo Arena on July 5th before going on to perform in London, Glasgow, and Belfast.

They are also rumoured to be playing the iTunes Festival, and a huge outdoor show at Slane Castle in Ireland. The dates are yet to be officially confirmed.

The last Tom Waits tour took place in 2008, in support of the release of his previous album, Glitter and Doom. The singer’s new release is his first composed of entirely new music since 2004, adding fuel to the rumours that a live shows, including UK and Ireland tour dates, may be on the horizon.

The Take That star has been accused of going through a contestant’s bag in order to gain laughs from the audience, only to be booed for taking the situation too far. He reportedly pulled out Ceri Rees’ passport, following her humiliating audition, held the document and quipped: “A passport? You won’t be needing that.”

The contestant’s controversial appearance on the show has already been criticised by mental health charities and celebrity fans, and the new revelations will no doubt draw more attention to the situation.

This year’s X Factor series has now reached the boot camp stage, with the successful contestants set to appear in the live finals in just a few weeks time. The finalists from the competition, including the overall winner, will go on to take part in the 2012 X Factor live tour. McIntyre appeared as a judge alongside Amanda Holden and David Hasselhoff throughout the last series, but ITV have now confirmed that he will not return.

“We wish him all the best and look forward to working with him again,” an ITV spokesman said.

A source added: “Michael has been weighing it up for a while as he does like the show and enjoyed being on the panel, but his first love is comedy and he wanted to embark on a tour and concentrate on that.”

Michael McIntyre tickets are available for the comedian’s huge 2012 UK tour, set to take place throughout August, September, October, November and December next year.

The US artist will release a new album later this year, and rumours on various internet forums suggest that she will confirm a series of arena dates for 2012 in the near future.

Lady GaGa will appear on the Children In Need Rocks bill alongside the likes of Michael Buble and Coldplay, with the event taking place at the MEN Arena on 17th November.

Many fans of the singer endured disappointment earlier this month, as she was forced to cancel a series of live concerts due to illness. Adele resumed her tour in Leicester this week in spectacular fashion, performing all of her best-known songs to the sell-out crowd.

The singer’s bodyguard, Craig Melkham recently told The Mirror that Cole has wanted to belfried the US star for some time.

“She used to talk about Britney Spears,” he said. “She kept saying that she wanted to help Britney.”

As Cheryl Cole continues with her ambition to crack the US, Britney Spears will be returning to the UK this year to perform a series of arena shows. Tickets for all upcoming Britney Spears tour dates are on sale now, with Nicki Minaj confirmed as the support act for all UK shows.

The group will begin the jaunt at Manchester’s O2 Apollo on the 11th of November and will perform two Brixton Academy shows on the 15th and 16th of November.

David Guetta currently sits second in the UK chart, followed by Will Young’s latest album, Echoes. UK singer Adele has slipped down to number four in the chart with her album, 21, which has not fallen out of the Top Five since its release 32 weeks ago.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers are set to tour the UK later this year, after confirming a series of arena shows last month. The jaunt will include three night’s at London’s O2 Arena, as well as concerts in Glasgow, Manchester, Sheffield and Birmingham. He attacked fans who have said Michael Jackson’s mother, Katherine, is greedy for supporting the concert, using his Twitter account. Starting this morning, he posted a series of messages on the social network, some of which are shown below:

“I learned the concept of fans from my uncle [Michael]. Sorry, you cannot call yourself a fan & attack MJ’s mother or kids. That is not a fan.”

“A fan can disagree and not like something, but being hateful is not a fan of MJ. It goes against everything he stood for.”

“Now I read comments like crazy Katherine or Greedy Katherine. or $$$$ Katherine. It is so disappointing.”

Whilst some fans supported his comments, some vehemently disagreed, as Taj is expected to receive payment for appearing at the concert with his brothers Taryll and Tito Joseph Jackson. The Michael Forever Tribute Concert will take place on October 8th at Cardiff’s Millenium Stadium, and will feature artists including Christina Aguilera, Leona Lewis and JLS.

A much anticipated production of the play started this week at London’s Theatre Royal Haymarket and at the helm is the Hollywood actor Ralph Fiennes. Fiennes has recently finished his role as Voldermort in the Harry Potter series and now is stepping on to the stage to play the dogmatic Prospero.

The production started on August 27th and is set to continue throughout the Autumn. The play is directed by Trevor Nunn and also stars two of the cast from The History Boys- Samuel Barnett and Jamie Parker.

Louis Walsh will once more deal with the over 28s, which has often been the most inconsistent group and of course gave him such talent as Wanger last year. Gary Barlow meanwhile will be in charge of the boys and Kelly Rowland has been given the girls. That only leaves Tulisa Contostavlos who is left with the challenging task of leading the groups. This may however suit her as her career with N-Dubz may stand her in good stead for the role.

The new series of the X Factor continues this Saturday, while there will be an extensive arena tour with the new stars in early 2012.

So far just four shows have been revealed, but more are expected to be announced soon. They currently kick off on September 20th at The Cellars, Portsmouth, and will conclude at Manchester’s Moho Live on September 30th. The shows will allow the singer-songwriter, real name Sam Duckworth, to showcase his new material, as well as tracks from his first three albums.

Dappy tweeted that the X Factor is fake and does not produce any real artists. His band mate and cousin, Tulisa then hit back at these remarks on Radio 1. She commented, “Dappy will probably be begging me for tickets when the live finals start, eating his words, calling me up.”

According the Now Magazine, Cheryl got in touch with Tulisa to say how impressed she was with her role on the show. Tulisa achieved fame with her successful pop group N-Dubz but now is focusing on her career within the X Factor.

Following the new series of the show, the X Factor will be touring the UK’s arenas in early 2012.

The ballet is entitled Ocean’s Kingdom and will be released as an album via Decca who are the label who famously turned down The Beatles in the 60s. The ballet will premier in New York next month and fans are very excited to see the music that the former Beatles man has written for it.

Paul McCartney also played a series of shows in America this Summer and although he doesn’t have any forthcoming dates confirmed, fans are hopeful he will tour again soon.

This year there will be no Simon Cowell, Cheryl Cole or Dani Minogue, with Louis Walsh the only member of previous years to continue on the judging panel. Now there is also the arrival of Kelly Rowland (former Destiny’s Child star), Tulisa (from N-Dubz fame) and Gary Barlow (Take That star). However initial crowd reactions suggest that the new judges are proving popular. Indeed the fact that 10.5 million viewers tuned in to watch the new series begin suggests that it will continue to be a great success.

The new show is also sure to produce an array of new stars who will be showcased in the forthcoming X Factor arena tour in early 2012.

Letters will be released on October 17th, which is the same day as Noel Gallagher’s debut solo album will be out so competition for the top spot will be very fierce it seems. Matt Cardle previously secured the Christmas number one spot following his victory on the X Factor with the hit single When We Collide.

The new series of the X Factor will return this Saturday (20^th August) and is sure to produce another host of stars. Once the new series is complete there will be an arena tour of the UK in early 2012.

Walsh is also the pair’s manager and he told BANG Showbiz, “It’s a great move [for them]. They’re getting paid a lot of money for it and everyone loves them.” It is rumoured that the pair will receive £1 million pounds for their appearance on the Channel 5 show. Speculation has also arisen that Charlie Sheen will star in the forthcoming series of the show.

Following their appearances on the reality TV show, Jedward will be touring the UK and Europe in 2011.

The BBC have now confirmed for the 8th series of the show, Russell Howard will be replaced by Chris Addison due to Howard’s other commitments. A spokesperson from the BBC commented on the move,

“Chris is a great signing for the autumn run. With party conferences and major sporting events coming up, I imagine he’ll be given a roving role as he has the ability to supply quality ammunition for Dara in the centre as well as the confidence to go it alone.”

Russell Howard will be touring the UK later this year, playing at such venues as Birmingham’s LG Arena (December 14th) and London’s O2 Arena (December 19th).

A source reportedly told Closer, “Cheryl’s furious with Simon for rehashing the details of her sacking. She feels he’s making a fool of her.

“She’s seething and she contacted him saying there was no need to bring it all up again, and he had no right going public with the details without discussing it first.”

Details were recently released which showed that Cheryl was forced to return to the US to film a few clips to make her exit from the show make more sense to US audiences.

The X Factor will return to the UK this Saturday (August 20th) without Cheryl on the judging panel. The new series will then be followed by an arena tour in early 2012.

Their eighth album, The King Of Limbs, was released in February, and since then they have released a series of EPs, each featuring remixes of songs from the album. The latest EP is the fourth, and features the songs Codex, Little By Little and Give Up The Ghost.

As reported recently on Fanatix, Radiohead are strongly rumoured to release a double album in September containing the full series of remixes. They are also reported to be touring soon after, although nothing has been confirmed yet.
