Brothers Jermaine and Randy are not supportive of the concert and they articulated their reasons for at a recent press conference.

“While we wholeheartedly support the spirit of a tribute that honours our brother, we find it impossible to support an event that is due to take place during the criminal trial surrounding Michael’s death. As everyone knows, those proceedings commence September 20th, and this Michael Forever concert takes place in Cardiff, Wales, on 8 October. In light of this, we feel it is inappropriate to be involved with such an ill-timed event and its promoter, Global Live.”

Despite these concerns raised the concert will still go ahead and tickets will go on sale in early August. Rumoured to play this concert are acts such as Justin Bieber Prince, Stevie Wonder and Lady Gaga.

Pixie has declared her love and admiration for Stevie Wonder, “I met his family and his wife, I spoke to him for a while and he’s such a legend.”

Fans with Isle of Wight Festival tickets can expect big things this summer, with a line-up that could be considered one of the best festival bills of the summer. Perhaps a festival aimed more at the younger generation of festival goers, the Reading and Leeds festival boasts a huge line-up that can surely compete with that of Glastonbury. Blink 182, The Libertines, Guns N’ Roses, Arcade Fire, Dizzee Rascal and Cypress Hill will all be appearing on the main stage throughout the weekend.

Expect to pay around £230 on the secondary ticket market for a weekend ticket with camping to either Reading or Leeds. The full Glastonbury line-up was announced today, and as expected, the festival will showcase a host of huge names from the world of music. The festival’s 40th anniversary will see Muse, U2 and Stevie Wonder headline the infamous Pyramid Stage, with acts such as Snoop Dogg, Dizzee Rascal, Jack Johnson, The Flaming Lips, Pet Shop Boys,  Hot Chip and the XX also set to appear across the weekend.
