The show is rumoured to be one of a series of UK outdoor shows next summer, with more Red Hot Chili Peppers concerts expected to be announced in the coming days.

The band are set to perform arena shows next month, with concerts taking place in Dublin, Belfast, London, Glasgow, Manchester, Sheffield and Birmingham in support of the release of their new record.

As well as showcasing new material, the group will also play a selection of their greatest hits.

Red Hot Chili Peppers tickets for the Croke Park show will go on sale next Friday, 4th November, with tickets to the band’s UK arena shows on sale now.

The ballet is entitled Ocean’s Kingdom and will be released as an album via Decca who are the label who famously turned down The Beatles in the 60s. The ballet will premier in New York next month and fans are very excited to see the music that the former Beatles man has written for it.

Paul McCartney also played a series of shows in America this Summer and although he doesn’t have any forthcoming dates confirmed, fans are hopeful he will tour again soon.

So far, the Series has seen artists including Eels, Imelda May and Blondie perform in the spectacular setting of London’s Somerset house, in the heart of the capital next to the Thames.

This weekend will see Ellie Goulding take to the stage tonight (July 15th), Lamb perform tomorrow (July 16th), and My Morning Jacket are to close the festival on Sunday (17th).

The Manchester indie favourites have joined forces with local brewers Robinsons of Stockport, and as reported on their official website, went through a series of tastings to create a beer which matched their preferred “style, taste and colour.” They settled on a “golden ale with a rich rounded body, smooth bitterness, subtle tang of malt and fruity aroma.” The beer will be named the Build A Rocket Boys! beer, after their recent album.

The band will play Leeds and Reading festivals later this summer, before playing shows around the world.

It seems that Morrissey’s loathing for almost anything that exists in the world has now extended to his own fan sites.

Morrissey-solo.com which was created in honour of the legendary figure was slated by Morrissey himself. He appeared in Bradford last week sporting a t-shirt proclaiming F**K MORRISSEY-SOLO.COM. The reasons as to why Morrissey would want to attack a website created out of a love for him remains unclear. It has perhaps more to do with general ideas relating to Morrissey’s slightly leftfield view of the world rather than anything tangible the website has done to upset him.

The news comes just dyas after ex Smith’s drummer Mike Joyce slammed Morrissey for playing Smith’s songs at his recent Glastonbury set. It certainly is a life of controversy for the ex-Smith’s frontman these days it appears.

In an interview with Shortlist, when asked about the potential of a reunion, the Beady Eye frontman said, “I’d love the Roses to get back, play that album and make a ****load of money for themselves, because I’m sure they didn’t before. Do some great f****** gigs, see what the reaction is and go make a new record.” Beady Eye use The Stone Roses song I Am The Resurrection to walk on stage at each of their gigs. Speaking about the song, Gallagher said, “Apparently, Ian Brown’s [The Stone Roses' frontman] worried about singing but he wouldn’t even have to – we’d sing it for him.” The Stone Roses’ bassist Mani said earlier in the year that rumours of a reunion were “total fantasy island.”

After having the injury confirmed at hospital on June 21st, she posted a message the following day which read, “Turns out I’ve been hobbling around with a broke foot. So will be in a hench grey darfaydar-looking boot and on crutches for 6 weeks (cool lol).” The injury came whilst the singer was in rehearsals, and meant she had to perform at the weekend’s Capital FM Summertime Ball in London sitting on a throne.

The live show, a spin-off of the hugely successful TV series, will arrive in the UK next month for a string of shows across the UK.

The former husband of infamous model Katie Price raises three children – three-year-old daughter Tiaamii, six-year-old son Junior and nine-year-old stepson Harvey. Returning for a bumper addition, the organisers of Underage are working hard to make this summer’s instalment extra special. The line up is always expanding, with Miles Kane set to perform in Victoria Park.

The Liverpool songwriter is set to release his much anticipated solo album this summer, after surprising fans with a series of singles. ‘Inhaler’ may have half-inched a guitar line from The Music Machine, but it’s energy and sheer style is a blast of fresh air.

The bill is already bristling with talent. Underage has confirmed appearances from the likes of American soul sensation Janelle Monae, fast rising Slough band Brother and Bombay Bicycle Club.

Robbie has no plans to move back to Britain the near future, explain he is happy with his current way of life even though it wouldn’t be to everyone’s tastes.

“I live in LA and everything is very positive, where people say ‘Thank you, have a nice day’ and all that sort of business. It can be shallow but I like it,” he laughed.

The star explained he notices the difference in attitude as soon as he sets foot on UK soil. People in his native country are never as cheerful and usually leave him fearing something bad is going to happen.

The rockers recently announced they will split in the summer after a series of farewell shows and frontman Harvey has now revealed he plans to quit showbusiness and concentrate on a career in psychotherapy instead.

“I quit because I wasn’t enjoying it. Needed a new challenge… I’m not sure if I want to stay in music… I’d like to get into Nlp (neuro-linguistic programming – a form of psychotherapy) and help people achieve their goals. It’s a good feeling.”

Recently playing the occasional concert with the reformed Simon & Garfunkel, after many years of disputes between the two, the ‘Graceland’ singer is now set to strike out on his own.

Arranging a British tour this summer, Paul Simon has vowed to perform an array of tracks throughout his career.

England had a profound effect on the young Paul Simon and early Simon & Garfunkel albums are littered with this influence, resulting in recordings such as ‘Angie’ and ‘Scarborough Fair’. ‘The Sound Of Silence’ was written while waiting on a train back to London from the rain-sodden English countryside.

Simon’s tour takes him to Nottingham, Glasgow, Bournemouth, Birmingham, London and Manchester.

According to TV Guide, Glee producer Ryan Murphy explained that the show has acquired the rights to the band’s album Rumours.

Glee has paid tribute to a number of stars in the past, including artists such as Madonna and Britney Spears.

Speaking to BBC 6 Music, Turner said, ‘I don’t think of this (Submarine) as a soundtrack. I just wrote a few tunes and they happened to fit. I don’t think I’d be very good at doing the soundtrack for Transformers for anything like that,”

When asked about writing for the Bond soundtrack he added: “Well that’s a different story. I’d love to do a tune for Bond. Definitely.”

The band’s rejection apparently angered Glee creator, Ryan Murphy, to which King’s Of Leon lead singer Caleb Followill responded, “This whole Glee thing is a shock to us. It’s gotten out of hand. At the time of the request, we hadn’t even seen the show. It came at the end of that record cycle, and we were over promoting “Use Somebody”. This was never meant as a slap in the face to Glee or to music education or to fans of the show. We’re not sure where the anger is coming from.”

Kings Of Leon released their latest album in 2010, Come Around Sundown, which included hit single Radioactive. They sold out a huge summer how at London’s Hyde Park, whilst also performing at UK arenas throughout December.

Love them or hate them, Kings Of Leon will be returning to the UK live scene in 2011, with a series of outdoor summer shows. Kings Of Leon tickets are available for concerts at Slane Castle, Coventry Ricoh Arena, Sunderland Stadium Of Light, Lancashire County Cricket Club, Hyde Park in London and Murrayfield in Edinburgh.

Elton John was seen on screen leaving Barlow a birthday message, as was fellow Take That member Robbie Williams. Mark Owen, Jason Orange and Howard Donald joined Barlow on stage for a rendition of the band’s hit single, Shine, to finish the show.

The concert was Gary Barlow’s first solo performance in over a decade, ahead of the upcoming Take That Progress Live tour. Take That will be performing a series of outdoor shows this summer, with 29 dates confirmed in Sunderland, Manchester, Cardiff, Glasgow, Dublin, Birmingham and Dublin.
