The outdoor concerts will be the group’s only UK shows of 2012, following their upcoming arena dates in Dublin, Belfast, London, Glasgow, Manchester, Sheffield and Birmingham, set to take place in November this year.

The group released their tenth studio album, I’m With You, in August this year, and as well as showcasing new material at their upcoming live dates, they will also play a selection of their greatest hits.

Currently at number 11, the album is expected to jump to the top and secure a 31st week in the charts. The album was released in November 2010, becoming the second fastest-selling album of all time, and the fastest-selling album of this century. It’s current success is likely due to Take That’s current Progress Live Tour, which kicked off in Sunderland in May and will conclude on July 29th in Munich. The tour featured eight consecutive nights at the City of Manchester Stadium and from June 30th the five-piece will play Wembley Stadium also for eight nights. Described as a “big production show” by singer Gary Barlow, the £15million tour features pyrotechnics, impressive choreography and a world-class array of tracks.

Although one million tickets were sold within 24 hours, Take That tickets can are still available to buy.

The group began the shows by performing a series of songs from their reunion era, before moving onto a number of Robbie Williams hits. They then treated the sold-out crowds to a selection of their most recent songs, taken from their latest studio album.

The band ended the shows with a medley of classic Take That songs, such as Never Forget and Relight My Fire.

Take That tickets are available online for the band’s remaining UK tour dates.

The band’s performances were split into three parts: post-Robbie Williams, where the the group performed songs without the recently-returned singer, a section dedicated to Williams’ own solo career, and songs from the Take That with Williams era.

The group were backed by an elaborate stage set, with details having been kept secret in the months leading up to the shows.

The set included the Take That hits Relight My Fire and Never Forget, while Williams’ solo songs included Rock DJ and Let Me Entertain You.

The Take That UK tour will continue with two more dates at the Stadium Of Light, before calling at venues in Manchester, Glasgow, Dublin and Cardiff. The tour concludes with an eight-night residency at Wembley Stadium in London in July.

Fellow boy-band JLS spoke to Sky News about  a recent meeting with Robbie Williams, who is known to have previously suffered from stage fright.

“At the end of the day it started with the five of them and it’s nice five of them have totally come back together to do this. You can never beat the original line up of Take That.

“We saw Robbie while we were in LA and he was saying that he’s so excited to go back on tour with the boys,” said Oritse Williams.

After weeks of rehearsals, the group will begin an incredible 29-date run in the UK, performing all of their classic songs, as well as a selection of songs from their latest album. It was recently confirmed that the group will also perform a number of hits from Robbie Williams’ solo career.

The band are expected to entertain around 1.5 million people during the stadium tour, which marks the return of Williams after 15 years away from the group. Speaking to Music Week, the singer revealed how he was feeling ahead of the band’s first live tour with Robbie Williams in over 15 years.

“A few weeks ago I had a pre-tour panic, a bit of a meltdown, which I went through for a couple of days,’ he told Music Week magazine.

“Not much sleep, but I came through the other end and I’ve been all right since. But we’re confident with it now and I think the show’s going to be brilliant.”

Tickets for all upcoming Take That Progress Live shows are available to buy online, with the tour set to begin at The Stadium Of Light in Sunderland on the 27th May.

A source told The Sun: ‘The guys agreeing to sing backing to Robbie’s classics throughout the shows really is significant – all the hard feelings have been put behind them.

‘At first he was to go it alone for a mid-set medley but they agreed they all needed to perform on the songs, even if it is just backing harmonies.

‘They are not solo artists. They are Take That.’

The Take That Progress Live Tour is set to begin in Sunderland this month.

Speaking about the group’s plans, a source revealed, “If you think flying machines, robots, space and futuristic landscapes, you won’t be too far off the mark.

“It will be a massive no-expense-spared production – with the costs of staging it likely to run close to £50 million.”

Williams is intending on performing No Regrets, a song from his solo career which features the line, ‘I know they’re still talking (you’re far too short to carry weight)’, in reference to Gary’s physique.

A source told The Mirror, “It’s quite tense at the moment with the pre-tour nerves but there are also concerns about the track’s lyrics.

“Everybody knows there has been bad blood between the boys but Robbie is sure the fans will see past the song’s face value and see a more poignant meaning behind it.

“To him, it shows how much they’ve overcome, and how much it means for them to be back together again. But the boys aren’t all too sure.”

The Take That Progress Live Tour is set to begin in Sunderland later this month.

The singer, who celebrated his 40th birthday with a special gig earlier this year, told The Sun that he had not set a limit on how long he wanted to stay in the music industry.

“People still find it hard to believe I’m 40,” Barlow said. “Actually I’m not bothered about age. I’m really happy and it’s lovely to be 40, I’d recommend it to anyone.

“Music is a young person’s industry but you want a few of the older bands like us around. We don’t have a plan for how long it is going to last.”

However, Barlow’s bandmate Howard Donald, 43, confessed that getting old is a “sensitive” issue for himself.

“I am very sensitive about my age. Gary will make jokes that I’m 46 or 47 and it really p*sses me off,” he said. “I feel like I’m still fit enough to go on, I don’t feel my age.”

A more optimistic Mark Owen, 39, added: “I’m pleased we have got this far through our lives – almost halfway hopefully, that’s quite an achievement.”

He wrote on his blog: “Hi all, I know it’s been ages since you have heard anything from me. I have been flying round the world on promo with the TT lads and loving it … amazing.

“In our down time … which hasn’t been much, I found I really liked painting – of course I then had to turn my whole garage into ‘art club’ and got all my L.A mates into it too.”

Robbie, 37, has big plans for his paintings, and is considering turning his creations into T-shirts.

The singer’s wife, actress Ayda Field, has even discovered her artistic side since her husband started splashing his brush around.

Robbie and the rest of Take That start their ‘Progress Live’ tour on May 27 in Sunderland, playing the UK’s biggest stadiums throughout the summer.

The five goals came from five different players, with Adam Johnson, Carlos Tevez, David Silva, Patrick Vieira and Yaya Toure all scoring in a uncharacteristic attacking display.

“I am surprised but I am happy. It is important that we scored five goals,” said Mancini.

The 30-year-old defender made an unexpected appearance at the Soccerex business forum in Manchester and toured a number of exhibitors stands, pursued by a posse of TV crews, cameramen and reporters.

Asked if he knew when he would hear the results of the B sample, Toure replied: “no comment” – but when asked if he had a message for City fans he said: “I will be back soon — I hope so.”

During an appearance on BBC Radio 2, the actor said he was currently casting people for the group, including his Little Britain co-star Matt Lucas and Gavin and Stacey star James Corden, who is earmarked to play Gary Barlow. Fake That are expected to perform with the real Take That during Comic Relief night, which is broadcast live on March 18th.

Kings Of Leon released their latest album in 2010, Come Around Sundown, which included hit single Radioactive. They sold out a huge summer how at London’s Hyde Park, whilst also performing at UK arenas throughout December.

Love them or hate them, Kings Of Leon will be returning to the UK live scene in 2011, with a series of outdoor summer shows. Kings Of Leon tickets are available for concerts at Slane Castle, Coventry Ricoh Arena, Sunderland Stadium Of Light, Lancashire County Cricket Club, Hyde Park in London and Murrayfield in Edinburgh.

Elton John was seen on screen leaving Barlow a birthday message, as was fellow Take That member Robbie Williams. Mark Owen, Jason Orange and Howard Donald joined Barlow on stage for a rendition of the band’s hit single, Shine, to finish the show.

The concert was Gary Barlow’s first solo performance in over a decade, ahead of the upcoming Take That Progress Live tour. Take That will be performing a series of outdoor shows this summer, with 29 dates confirmed in Sunderland, Manchester, Cardiff, Glasgow, Dublin, Birmingham and Dublin.

Robbie Williams has returned to the band after a 15 year absence, and is confirmed to perform solo material throughout the 2011 Progress Live tour, as well as Take That classics along with Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, Howard Donald and Jason Orange.

The original show, due to take place on the 21st December, was cancelled to to the band’s tour bus catching fire. The new show will take place just two days before the band’s Hyde Park concerts.

Take That tickets went on sale this morning for extra dates in Sunderland, Manchester and London as part of their “Progress” tour in 2011. The tour sold out in minutes, but tickets are available to compare and buy online now, including tickets for the previously released dates.

With a record breaking album and much hyped reunion with Robbie Williams, the tickets for their new tour sold out within minutes, leaving many fans disappointed. However, on top of extra tickets going on sale at 10am, Take That tickets are still available for existing shows.
