The group will now perform at Manchester O2 Apollo on the 7th February and Alexandra Palace in London on the 9th February.</p><p>The news comes after the band recently confirmed that they are set to release their fourth studio album this December, titled El Camino. The band began teasing the release with a series of spoof advertisements earlier this week.</p><p><a

Lady GaGa has dominated the list, picking up six nominations, whilst Katy Perry and Bruno Mars both have four nominations each.</p><p>Adele, Justin Bieber and 30 Seconds To Mars are each shortlisted for three awards, whilst on the back of the announcement of a <a

The Californian pop star scooped up a mammoth 9 nominations and seems hotly tipped to win several awards at the award ceremony on August 28th.</p><p>Adele was also nominated for 7 awards and it would be very unlikely that the London born singer-songwriter will come home empty handed from the American ceremony.</p><p>One of the surprise nominations was perhaps Mumford and Sons with their brand of folk-rock managing to get a nomination for Best Rock Video, along with the Foo Fighters and the Black Keys. Unsurprisingly Lady Gaga and Beyonce are also nominated with 3 nominations respectively.</p><p>The frontrunner, Katy Perry, will be touring the UK this Autumn and tickets are still available.</p><p>Buy <strong><a

Their last album, Brothers, sold 73,000 copies in the first week of its release.</p><p>Today Black Keys fans received some very exciting news that their new album is complete and is set for release later on this year.</p><p>On this new record, which will be their 7th studio album, they have worked with mega producer Danger Mouse.</p><p>Dan Auerbach (frontman) told Spin.com that the new album will see the band take a different direction.</p><p>&#8220;The new album doesn&#8217;t sound like &#8216;Brothers&#8217;. It doesn&#8217;t have that open soul feel to it. It&#8217;s way more driving and the tempos are really fast.&#8221;</p><p><a

isPermaLink="false">http://www.tixdaq.com/news/?p=20584</guid> <description><![CDATA[Coldplay end festival with a bang]]></description> <content:encoded><![CDATA[<div><p>It was once again another triumphant weekend at this year&#8217;s Oxegen Festival in Punchestown Ireland.</p><p>This year&#8217;s headliners were The Black Eyed Peas, The Foo Fighters and Coldplay. It seems that all the headliners this year delivered suitable sets of gigantic performances to the delight of the Irish crowd. The Festival itself was ended in true Irish fashion with a great Oxegen moment, as Christy Moore came on stage with Coldplay to perform Ride On which evoked a mammoth singalong from the masses.</p><p>The acts on display this year represented a much more equal balance between pop and rock, featuring the likes of Ke$ha, The Black Eyed Peas and Beyonce mixed with the usual suspects of The Strokes, The Arctic Monkeys and The Foo Fighters. The balance however seemed to go down very well, catering for everyone&#8217;s musical tastes and providing great music all round.</p><p>The Strokes, who many argue are the band that single-handedly saved indie, performed a classic set on the Friday of Oxegen and are also down to headline this year&#8217;s Reading and Leeds Festivals.</p><p><strong><a

The Strokes and Swedish House Mafia headline the Vodafone stage, with Leftfield and Calvin Harris topping the bill on the Heineken Green Spheres stage.</p><p>Saturday (June 8th) has headliners Foo Fighters supported by Arctic Monkeys and Beady Eye. Paolo Nutini and deadmau5 are top of the bill on the Vodafone stage while Brandon Flowers headlines the Heineken Green Spheres stage.</p><p>Closing the festival on Sunday night will be Coldplay, supported by Beyonce and Slash. Support is provided by The Whigs, and the band will be visiting Manchester, Sheffield, Birmingham and London before the 21st December.</p><p>Tickets are also available for the American rock band&#8217;s gigs next summer, which will include two days in London&#8217;s Hyde Park, with support bands including The Black Keys, The Drums, The Whigs and The Features.</p><p>The band&#8217;s 2008 album &#8220;Only By The Night&#8221; produced the hits &#8220;Sex Is On Fire&#8221; and &#8220;Use Somebody&#8221;, that earned the band a much wider fanbase than their original three studio albums. Those who didn&#8217;t manage to see Kings Of Leon at Hyde Park will welcome the news that the band will also headline V Festival 2010, which takes place between August 21st &#8211; 22nd. <a

The band are now set to headline V Festival this August.]]></description> <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Kings Of Leon played to a sell-out 60,000 crowd last night at London&#8217;s Hyde Park, and hailed the show as one of the best experiences of their lives. The band performed a host of new material to their fans, as well as tracks from their extensive back catalogue, including <em>Sex On Fire</em>, <em>Molly&#8217;s Chamber</em> and <em>The Bucket</em>.</p><p>Lead singer Caleb Followill told the crowd during the show, &#8220;It&#8217;s been one of the greatest experiences of my life. Thank you all very much. One of these days, when we&#8217;re all fat and  bald&#8230;or balder, and we&#8217;re sitting in Tennessee telling all our kids  about all the great things that happened to us, this is gonna be one of  those.&#8221;</p><p>The band were supported by The Black Keys, The Drums, The Features and The Whigs. All of the bands drew big crowds, despite the early show times. The Black Keys played for almost an hour, with a set based around their latest album,<em> Brothers</em>.</p><p>Kings Of Leon will play two more shows here in the UK this year, and can expect an even bigger audience as they headline V Festival in both Shifnal and Chelmsford on August 21st and August 22nd. <a

Florence Welch has been nominated for breakthrough act, best album, best live act and song of the year for <em>You&#8217;ve Got The Love</em>. Florence will face tough competition from acts such as Kasabian and Arctic Monkeys, but she is widely expected to come out on top. Kings of Leon visit London and Manchester in June. Kings of Leon are set to play three massive shows at the London O2 Arena (15, 16 &amp; 30 June) and two shows at the Manchester Evening News Arena (22 &amp; 23 June). <a
