Britney Spears to release remix album ahead of Femme Fatale UK shows

Britney Spears has confirmed that she will be releasing a remix album in early October, ahead of her UK arena shows.

The US pop star is et to return to the UK next month to perform shows at London O2 Arena, Belfast Odyssey Arena, Birmingham LG Arena, London Wembley Arena, Newcastle Metro Radio Arena, Sheffield Motorpoint Arena and Manchester MEN Arena. She revealed news of the new album through her official Twtter account, stating, “Exciting news people… new remix album is coming out on 10/11! Pumped for you to hear these tracks – I love them.”

Set to be released on October 10th, the album will feature remixes of songs from her last three studio albums: Blackout, Circus and Femme Fatale. The producers include Tiesto, Benny Benassi, U-Tern and Linus Loves.

Creamfields countdown almost at an end

The countdown to this year’s Creamdfields is very nearly at an end as the Festival kicks off this weekend, Saturday August 27th.

The weekend of dance and electronic music features some of the world’s top dance acts. The Saturday night will feature Magnetic Man and The Chemical Brothers on the South Stage. Whilst on the Clublife Stage, Tiesto will be headlining with support from Diplo and Calvin Harris. Sunday meanwhile will feature Swedish House Mafia and David Guetta, in what is sure to be an amazing weekend of live music.

Cheryl Cole and David Guetta to collaborate

Tabloid speculation today has predicted that Cheryl Cole will work with house music’s mega star David Guetta on her next album.

Cheryl Cole is currently working on her new record and is being aided by Black Eyed Peas’ Will.I.Am. Now however tabloid reports are pairing Cheryl Cole and David Guetta together for Cheryl’s new album. A source has told The Daily Mail of the collaboration project:

“Cheryl will be a top solo star in the US, if Will has anything to do with it. The man is so well connected, and he sleeps, breathes and eats music. He has a studio at home in which he is trying out new sounds for Cheryl. He wants the best and is very picky. David is an old friend and has produced some of the best dance anthems of the past few years, so it’s a good place to start.”

David Guetta will be performing at this year’s Creamfields along with the likes of Tiesto and The Chemical Brothers.

Tiesto tickets available for Victoria Park show this Friday

Tiesto will perform at Victoria Park on the 30th July as part of one of the biggest dance events of the year. He will be joined by very special guests Pendulum, DJ Royalty Eddie Halliwell, South Central and The Japanese Popstars. There are over 100 tickets still available for the event.

Tiesto tickets start trading at £37, and all available tickets are general admission, granting the holder to access to all available stages, including the Mixmag and Don’t Stay In Arena. This is the second year Tiesto will perform the huge outdoor show at Victoria Park, on the back of the success of last year’s event.

Tiesto alive and well despite car crash rumours

Despite rumours circulating earlier today that DJ and producer Tiesto had been involved in a car crash in California, the dance music legend has confirmed on his Twitter account that he is alive and well.

It is still unknown whether the story is true, but the news has come as a relief to music fans across the world who had reason to believe that Tiesto was seriously injured. This morning’s Twitter post read, “It’s nice to read that people care about my life. Thank you for all the support. It’s good to be alive and to get so much love from you xx.”

In a seperate statement Tiesto said, “I don’t know where these stories come from, but I’m very much alive and well and looking forward to the rest of my tour, including the second Victoria Park takeover in London.”

Tiesto will perform at Victoria Park on the 30th July as part of one of the biggest dance events of the year. He will be joined by very special guests Pendulum, DJ royalty Eddie Halliwell headlining the Mixmag & Don’t Stay In Arena, South Central and The Japanese Popstars.

DJ Tiesto confirms huge Summer Victoria Park show

DJ Tiesto is set to repeat last year’s successful Victoria Park headline show on 30th July this year. The DJ performed in front of over 25,000 fans at last year’s outdoor spectacular and is back in 2010.

It has also been confirmed that Tiesto is set to be supported by Pendulum and that the gig is likely to feature sound and visuals used in the DJ’s recent world-famous Kaleidoscope tour.

The consistently brilliant dance festival Creamfields is to announce its 2010 lineup on BBC Radio One at 8pm on March 26th, but early bird tickets are already on sale for the two day event.

Last year’s festival was headlined by Mylo, Tiesto, Calvin Harris, Dizzee Rascal, 2 Many DJs, Paul Van Dyk and Basement Jaxx, with this year’s extravaganza sure to showcase equally brilliant talent. It will take place at Daresbury Estate near Halton in Cheshire, from August 28th – 29th 2010.

Tiesto will be joined by stars including Nelly Furtado, Calvin Harris and Muse live on stage at his Edinburgh concert next month. But the Dutch megastar DJ won’t be falling out over who headlines the show – the guests will be there virtually, thanks to a fantastic new technology system. Speaking to The Razz, Tiesto said: “On this tour, the visuals are unbelievable. I have a system called LiveSync, which is completely unique to me. It is the only one in the world. It looks almost like the people are really there on the stage with me.’

Superstar DJ – Tiesto – has announced a UK arena tour for 2010

The ‘Kaleidoscope’ tour will consist of five dates and the Dutch trance giant will visit venues in Sheffield, London, Cardiff, Liverpool and Birmingham. The dates are as follows:
