The final name for the first day of the event will be confirmed on Monday.

Last year, the likes of JLS, The Saturdays, Black Eyed Peas, The Wanted and Tinie Tempah performed at the event.

Tickets for all upcoming Jessie J tour dates are on sale now, with the UK singer performing live concerts throughout October and November.

The concert will take place at London’s Earl’s Court on 11th December, and will also feature appearances from the cast of Hollyoaks and Made In Chelsea.

2010′s event featured performances from JLS, Tinie Tempah, Pixie Lott, Jason Derulo, The Saturdays and Example with the show being broadcast on T4 and 4Music.

The UK artist revealed the news on Twitter, and will now help N-Dubz’ Tulisa to choose her best three acts to take through to the live shows.

Jessie J will follow her X Factor appearance with her latest UK tour, set to get underway in Birmingham on the 18th October. Jessie J tickets are on sale now for shows running until 3rd November, including two appearances at HMV Forum in London.

Speaking to Capital FM, Tinie Tempah revealed when asked about a possible collaboration, “It’s all been talking like, ‘Let’s do it’, ‘Yeah let’s do it’, and I’m just trying to time that,

“Let’s make a plea, let’s make a petition and let’s get this track done.”

The track could feature on the rapper’s second album, which is due to be released early next year. The record was originally expected to be unleashed in late 2011, but due to the upcoming Tinie Tempah tour dates, the release has had to be pushed back.

Tinie Tempah is set to perform UK arena shows throughout October and November.

The singer was the clear favourite going into last night’s ceremony, after previously winning the award back in 2001. Harvey beat the likes of Adele, Tinie Tempah, Katy B, James Blake and Elbow to the prize, regarded as one of the highest honours in the music industry.

On accepting the award, she stated “It’s really good to be here this evening, because when I last won 10 years ago I was in Washington DC watching the Pentagon burning from my hotel window.

“So much has happened since then. This album took me a long time to write. It was very important to me. I wanted to make something meaningful, not just for myself but for other people, and hopefully to make something that would last.”

PJ Harvey will follow tonight’s event with two back-to-back performances at London’s Royal Albert Hall in October. PJ Harvey tickets are on sale now.

The Do It Like A Dude singer was nominated for best song, best album, best newcomer, best video and best UK act categories. She released a statement commenting,

“I am so honoured to be nominated. I have watched so many of the artists I look up to being nominated, winning awards and performing. It’s amazing to be in the company of such amazing talent.”

Also nominated for four awards were Tinie Tempah, Wretch 32 and Adele who are all sure to do well when the awards ceremony takes place on October 5th.

He also mocked American rap star Kanye West during his set at Chelmsford site. In between songs he commented, “Listen up ladies and gentlemen. I’ve got a story to tell. Don’t worry, I’m not going to pull a Kanye West. I promise.”

This was a reference to the tirades Kanye let out at the Big Chill Festival and at his performance in Oslo. It seems that Tinie Tempah is getting so big that he can even mock American rap royalty.

The hit indie-folk band, who recently released their acclaimed third album Last Night On Earth, will perform on September 21st. They close the summer of live music that has hosted bands including The Vaccines, Biffy Clyro, Friendly Fires, Mark Ronson, Tinie Tempah, Dizzee Rascal and 2manydjs.

Speaking to NME about the gig, frontman Charlie Fink said: “It’s something different for us and to be honest I don’t really know what to expect, but we’re very excited. I’ve never been to Ibiza before so I’m not quite sure what’s going to happen. We’re going to do our festival set which we’ve done at all the others. It’s got a lot of energetic numbers so hopefully people will get up and dance.”

If rumours are correct, then the hit rapper will become part of the ‘judge’s house’ section of the show. The Sun quotes a source as saying: “Tulisa knows Tinie really well and would love for him to join her with the contestants once they are through bootcamp. She originally planned for her N-Dubz bandmates Dappy and Fazer to join her but the show producers thought that was a gamble.”

The source continued: “Gary is also close to Tinie and has been working with him on the new Children In Need single. He knows the show is huge and realised it would be great for his profile. He has a few things to wriggle out of, but is determined to be involved.”

In an interview with Scottish newspaper the Daily Record, Hasselhoff commented, ”I’d love to do a record with Tinie. It would be ideal to do some fun dance record.”

“I’d like to do a little sampling of the Baywatch and Knight Rider themes and get Tinie to do something on it. I’d sing on it and let him rap on it and I think it could be fun.”

Whether or not this actually happens is very much unclear. Tinie Tempah will be performing at this year’s V Festival on August 20th and 21st.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, he spoke about the new record, revealing he was working with Pharrell, and if all goes to plan, a few other big name stars: “I’ve been in the studio with Pharrell quite a lot. I’ve been talking to Usher about trying to get something done for it and hopefully, fingers crossed, Adele!”

He says conversations about working with Adele are already under way: “She’s a very good friend of mine and so it’s definitely something that we’re talking about. I want to do something kind of happy with her, something that people would not necessarily expect. I think she has an amazing voice and I’d love to see her use it in all sorts of different ways.”

Friday, July 1st, sees a headline set from Eagles, famous for their classic song Hotel California. Supporting the American rock legends will be Death Cab for Cutie, Brandon Flowers and Bryan Ferry. Sunday July 3rd will see a two and a half hour headline set from pop legend Prince to close the event, in his first ever UK festival appearance. Larry Graham and Tinie Tempah will support. In the Big Tent, The Go! Team and The Pierces provide support for a Hot Chip DJ set. Young Knives headline the Bread & Roses set.

The Irish band will play a colossal homecoming gig at The Aviva Stadium on July 2nd, which has already sold out. However, a limited number of new tickets are now on sale, limited to eight per person. Supporting The Script will be Tinie Tempah and The Coronas.

Hot on the back of picking up Brit and Ivor Novello awards this year Tinie Tempah is now supporting Prince!

The UK Rapper will be perform before headliner Prince at Hop Farm Festival in July.  Our Brit urban star is currently in the states his music, Written In The Stars reached number 12 in the American Billboard singles chart.

This years Ivor Novello awards witnessed Dizzee Rascal, Plan B and Tinie Tempah all being honoured, marking the rise of British urban music.

Tinie Tempah picked up one of the prestigous awards for Pass Out as the best contemporary song: ” We’re here picking up Ivor Novellos. It doesn’t really get any better and this goes to show the music does work” ” People get the music and the theme is embraced and understood by people outisde of that world, outside of hip-hop and underground music world, so this is clearly here to stay.”

Dizzee Rascal, virtually a veteran in comparison also picked up one of the converted awards, he was given the Inspiration award.  He imparted his pearls of wisdom on british domestic songwriters: “Just shows the country is ready for this music” ” It’s a good thing and I am loving it and it’s for songwriting as well.”

The three brit sensations have brought home the goods and proved urban music has a firm and deserved place in the music industry.

A source told the Daily Star, “Tinie has got the busiest schedule around but you’ll never hear him moan.

“Even when he’s on a plane he’s thinking of ideas for his next album, show or performance.

“As much as he wants to get new music out to his fans, he doesn’t want to short-change them, so the album will come in the New Year.”

Sony and Universal have both introduced it for their artists, which is vastly different from the usual ploy of giving a song six weeks radio play before the single is released.

‘Pass Out’ rapper Tempah, who is currently in the studio working on his second album with plans to release the record later this year, says he backs the initiative.

“I like it that with this new idea a song can sell for a longer period of time,” Tempah said. “Now a No. 1 will be a really popular single rather than just a big build-up and drop out, which is interesting.”

“I was having an intimate moment with a lady friend and I’d put the iPod on shuffle,” Tinie explained. “It’s a nice mix of different types of music, some fast and some slow. It works well for the situation.

“But suddenly Wifey comes on. And the lady is looking at me like, ‘Did you plan this to happen? Is this something that turns you on more?’ I could see it in her eyes that this moment was awkward for me and a turn-off for her.

The ’She Said’ star, who is to try and crack the US music market later in the year, asserted that he will not be getting elocution lessons.

“I won’t be taking a translator to the US,” he said. “It really annoys me when people over there say they can’t understand British accents. If anyone says that to me, I’m gonna say: ‘Well, I can understand your nasal accent’, so how does that work? I won’t be going all posh, or all American.

“If my accent becomes a problem in interviews, then I’m going to play on it even more and go pure Cockney. I’ll get worse.”

The singer-songwriter admitted that he is excited to be introducing his material to a new audience, but fears that he may find promoting the album boring, after an extensive UK push over the last year.

“I’m in two minds about the promotion. It’ll be a bit like going back to the beginning, talking about all that stuff I talked about when no-one knew me in the UK,” he explained. “I might start to find it a bit boring going over all that stuff again.”

He also contemplated that he may be compared to Tinie Tempah, who has recently started to become known in the US, stating that people may “pit [him] against” the ’Pass Out’ rapper.
