Leeds Festival stage times revealed – check here

The full list of stage times has been confirmed for next weekend’s Leeds Festival.

The three-day event is held at Bramham Park from Friday 26th – Sunday 28th August. Friday will see Muse headline the main stage, whilst on Saturday My Chemical Romance take the top spot, and Sunday sees a joint headline position shared by The Strokes and Pulp.

The full stage times have been released for this weekend’s Reading Festival.

Taking place from this Friday (August 26th) to Sunday (August 28th) and will see headline performances from My Chemical Romance, The Strokes and Pulp, and Muse will close the festival. The festival has music kicking off from 11.00-11.30 each day.

Two Door Cinema Club planning second album

The ‘Come Back Home’ band suggested that work on new material will commence once the festival season is over.

“We’ve just moved in to a house – we’re setting up a studio in there, so I guess after festival season we’ll have a little more time off and just keep recording and hopefully make another record, or maybe two, and just see what happens,” frontman Alex Trimble said.

The Northern Irish band are currently gearing themselves up for their appearance at California’s Coachella music festival this month, as well as slots at the Isle of Wight festival and Radio One’s Big Weekend.

“It is absolutely crazy. I mean, last year we played the Other Stage at Glastonbury which is sort of like the second stage dine-in. I mean, you’re playing with artists that you grew up with and you’re playing with the bands that inspired you and the people that made you want to write music and stuff.”

My Chemical Romance, The Strokes and Muse to headline Reading and Leeds Festival

My Chemical Romance will be headlining Reading on the Friday and Leeds on Saturday, with support from 30 Seconds To Mars, The Offspring, Deftones, Rise Against, Bring Me The Horizon, The Blackout and Architects.

The Strokes will top the bill at Reading on Saturday and Leeds on Sunday, along with performances from Pulp, The National, Jimmy Eat World, Madness, Two Door Cinema Club, Seasick Steve, The Pigeon Detectives and The Joy Formidable.

Muse will headline Reading on Sunday and Friday in Leeds, with support from Elbow, Interpol, Friendly Fires, Enter Shikari, The View, Frank Turner and We Are The Ocean.

Beady Eye, Janes Addiction, 2many DJ’s, White Lies, Crystal Castles, The Streets, Noah and the Whale, Bombay Bicycle Club and Death From Above 1979 have also all been confirmed to appear across the weekend.

Reading Festival will take place at Richfield Avenue from the 26th to 28th August, whilst Leeds Festival will take place at Bramham Park across the same weekend. Weekend tickets will be priced at around £190, whilst day tickets will be priced at £80.

A number of forums have published a picture supposedly from this week’s Kerrang! magazine which shows the full line-up for the Reading and Leeds festival.

US band My Chemical Romance are shown to be headlining Reading on the Friday and Leeds on Saturday and The Strokes will headline the main stage on the Saturday night at Reading and the Sunday at Leeds.

Beady Eye, Pulp, Noah & The Whale, Bombay Bicycle Club, Everything Everything and Two Door Cinema Club are also shown to be playing.

The festival takes place over the weekend of August 26-28 and tickets go on sale on the evening of March the 21st.

Coldplay, The Strokes, Black Eyed Peas confirmed for Oxegen

This year’s Oxegen line-up has been revealed, with a host of big names confirmed for Ireland’s biggest music festival. Foo Fighters and Arctic Monkeys had already been confirmed for the event, and last night’s announcement of acts such as Black Eyed Peas, Coldplay and The Strokes joining the bill has increased the demand for tickets.

Oxegen Festival will take place at Punchestown Racecourse, Co. Kildare from the 7th to to the 10th July.

More huge acts have been added to this years RockNess line-up in addition to previously announced headliners, The Chemical Brothers, Kasabian and Paolo Nutini.

Glasvegas, Mark Ronson and The Cribs have joined the line-up for the festival in Scotland. Other new additions to the bill include The Wombats, Two Door Cinema Club, Magnetic, We Are Scientists and DJ Shadow.

In a special treat, Groove Armada have also confirmed they will debut their new audio visual concept performance, called Groove Armada Presents Red Light.

The festival will take place on the banks of the famous Loch Ness near Inverness over the weekend of June 10th-12th.

After the huge success of their debut album ‘Tourist History’, the indie band Two Door Cinema Club will be playing their 2 biggest headlining shows to date. Their two night stint in London’s Brixton Academy will be on the 2nd and 3rd of June. The band have been debuting new material at recent shows in the U.S and a new album this year sounds like a distinct possibility though no official announcement has been made at this time.

Beady Eye confirmed for Isle Of Wight Festival

Beady Eye are the latest band to have been added to the line-up for the Isle Of Wight Festival 2011. Liam Gallagher and his new band have confirmed their appearance, after selling out a series of headline shows, scheduled to take place throughout March.

Acts such as The Script, Pixie Lott, Jeff Beck and Two Door Cinema Club have also been confirmed to perform at the festival, which will take place from June 10th to 12th at Seasclose Park, Newport.

Isle Of Wight Festival will be headlined by Kings Of Leon, Foo Fighters and Kasabian, with a special guest appearance from Pulp also confirmed.

Two Door Cinema club have announced three UK and Ireland shows to take place in March 2011. The band will perform in Glasgow, London and Dublin. Full details are as follows:

Reading Festival day tickets falling in price

Reading Festival tickets for Friday 27th August can now be bought on the secondary ticket market for as little as £80 each. Websites such as Seatwave and Viagogo are currently listing a total of 65 Friday tickets under £1oo each.

Guns N’ Roses will headline the main stage at Reading Festival on Friday 27th August and will be supported by Queens of the Stone Age, Biffy Clyro, Lostprophets, NoFX, Gogol Bordello, Billy Talent, A Day to Remember and Young Guns.

The NME/Radio 1 stage will see appearances from Phoenix, Mumford & Sons, Delphic, Yeasayer, The Big Pink and Two Door Cinema Club.

Reading Festival weekend tickets are currently trading from £227 to £1000.

A host of names were announced to perform at this year’s Reading and Leeds festivals as tickets went on sale yesterday evening. Rumours came to life as Blink 182, Arcade Fire and Guns ‘N’ Roses were confirmed as headliners, and The Libertines, Biffy Clyro and Paramore were also confirmed.

Two Door Cinema Club announce huge UK tour – tickets on sale Friday

Two Door Cinema Club have announced a UK tour to take place throughout September. Tickets for the shows, which start in Birmingham on 15th September, will go on sale at 9am this Friday (March 19th) and will be available to compare and buy here at Tixdaq.com.

The band have gained a huge following this year, mostly due to the success of their debut album Tourist History, and their September tour will provide their biggest headline show to date at The O2 Shepherds Bush Empire in London.
