South West Four only a week away

This year’s South West Four Festival kicks off this weekend and it promises to be the biggest and best instalment of the dance festival to date.

The Festival will start on Saturday August 27th at London’s Clapham Common and has a host of amazing dance artists performing. Headlining on the Saturday night are Underworld and Pendulum will finish off the weekend on the Sunday evening. Also performing across the weekend are acts including Pete Tong, Magnetic Man, Annie Mac and Wretch 32.

Title Fight announce UK tour dates

It has been announced today that US punk rockers Title Fight will be touring the UK this December.

Title Fight are renowned for their stage energy and heavy sounds and have a live show that is certainly something to behold. Their UK tour kicks off at King Tuts Wah Wah Hut in Glasgow on the 12th December and they will go on to play such venues as Nottingham’s Rescue Rooms and the O2 Academy Birmingham. While She Sleeps announce September UK tour

While She Sleeps have revealed they are to embark on a short UK tour in September.

The Sheffield metal five-piece will play five venues, beginning at Leeds Cockpit on September 10th, and concluding on September 14th at London’s Underworld. The band recently played on the main stage at Sonisphere Festival, and even though they were on before midday, drew a huge crowd.

Full tour dates are:

Leeds, Cockpit – September 10th
Glasgow, Garage – September 11th
Manchester, Academy – September 12th
Birmingham, O2 Academy – September 13th
London, Underworld – September 14th

Underworld to headline South West Four 2011

Legendary electronic group Underworld have been confirmed as the Saturday headline act at London’s South West Four Festival 2011.

Karl Hyde and Rick Smith, aka Underworld, are well known for their unique sound which has been widely acclaimed in both commercial and underground domains for over 20 years. ‘Born Slippy’ is arguably their biggest hit, used to stunning effect in the film ‘Trainspotting’.

The festival, taking place in Clapham Common on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th of August, also features Pendulum.

Underworld tickets out Friday for special live concert at London HMV Forum

Underworld are probably most famous for their song Born Slippy .NUXX, which featured in the 1996 hit movie Trainspotting directed by Danny Boyle. Its chorus of a chant of words such as “lager” and “shouting” were intended to symbolise the internal dialogue of an alcoholic – and the track has since become a club anthem that Underworld always play at their live shows.

Having just announced a special concert at the HMV Forum in London on September 16th 2010, Underworld tickets go on sale on Friday 16th July at 09:00 a.m. The gig will be in support of forthcoming new album Barking, scheduled for a release date of September 13th 2010, and the LP will include collaborations with legendary German trance producer Paul van Dyk and a whole host of others.
