The derogatory twist on the name for Noel’s solo project, High Flying Birds, came during an interview with Q Magazine, and is the latest episode in the ongoing dispute between the two ex-Oasis brothers. Liam Gallagher recently sued Noel over statements made giving the reasons for Oasis’ split, which Liam vehemently denies. He told Q: “He blew it. He could have said, ‘I was a d**k, he was a d**k, that’s life, it’s 2011, here’s my f***king record.’”

Liam, the Beady Eye frontman, then criticised Noel’s choice of band name and dress sense: “Listen, our kid’s a mouthy f*** too. He said we had a year to come up with a band name and came up with Beady Eye. He had three [years] and came up with the High Flying Turds. I don’t know who dressed him but he looks like something out of Westlife.”

The Irish judge has been enjoying the start of UK X Factor, with talent flooding through the doors, even being brought to tears by one performer in Glasgow.

It isn’t just the talent he has been enjoying either but the new judges too “ Kelly’s pretty fiery and Tulisa..ohhhhh…she’s good and of course Gary Barlow’s been round, he knows what he’s talking about. He’s very honest.

The Westlife manager was on Loose Women this afternoon looking a little tired after partying with Tulisa all night!

Louis says although Simon, Cheryl and Dani have not returned, the new series will ‘still be fabulous’ and ‘this could be our biggest and our best series ever,”

The band member explained that the music mogul was “brilliant” when they first signed to him but later became preoccupied with The X Factor and American Idol.

Westlife joined Cowell’s Sony BMG company before they became well known in 1998 and later moved to his Sony imprint Syco in 2002.

Byrne told The Sun: “We signed to Simon back in 1998 and he was brilliant, but then came the development of X Factor and American Idol.

“Simon became famous himself and his interests went that way rather than on Westlife.”

The singer said that he and his bandmates felt “unloved” by Cowell, which led them to terminate their 13-year contract earlier this year.

He added: “We almost felt a little bit unloved with Simon Cowell, if I was to be honest. We had [full-time support] with Simon but he got so busy and would do it at the very last minute and we needed someone who was on it all the time.”

The cheapest tickets are for seats in the lower tier of the Stadium, and the most expensive are Gold Circle standing tickets. Fans after Gold Circle tickets will be pleased to know that the cheapest currently available are priced at just £75.

Westlife’s MEN Arena support acts have been confirmed as American boy band WOW, and Wonderland, a group managed by Louis Walsh and Westlife member Kian Egan.

Westlife will go on to play shows at Newcastle Metro Radio Arena, Croke Park Stadium in Dublin, Ashton Gate Stadium in Bristol and The Marquee in Cork next month.

Westlife tickets for their Croke Park show are currently trading below face value, and can be bought for as little as £42 on the secondary ticket market.

JLS will not be the only support band of the evening, as organisers have recently confirmed that Jedward will be joining the line-up.

Westlife are currently mid-way through their huge UK arena tour and are still yet to play at Manchester MEN Arena, Newcastle Metro Radio Arena and two dates at The Marquee in Cork.

During their upcoming UK and Ireland tour, due to kick off next week, Westlife will be visiting Belfast’s Odyssey Arena, Nottingham’s Trent FM Arena, Liverpool’s Echo Arena, Sheffield’s Hallam FM Arena, London’s O2 Arena, Birmingham’s LG Arena, the Cardiff International Arena, Glasgow’s SECC, Manchester’s MEN Arena and Newcastle’s Metro Radio Arena.

Westlife tickets below face value are also available for shows at Sheffield Hallam Arena, with prices starting at £22, and Birmingham LG Arena, with tickets available from just £25.
