According to a show source the song choices will allow the contestants to “show their vulnerable side” before the first public vote.

Current odds suggest that 16-year-old singer Janet Devlin is the favourite to win this year’s competition, following last week’s surprise eliminations. 2 Shoes, Jonjo Kerr, James Michael and Amelia Lily were all voted of the competition by the judges.

The Take That star has been accused of going through a contestant’s bag in order to gain laughs from the audience, only to be booed for taking the situation too far. He reportedly pulled out Ceri Rees’ passport, following her humiliating audition, held the document and quipped: “A passport? You won’t be needing that.”

Louis Walsh will once more deal with the over 28s, which has often been the most inconsistent group and of course gave him such talent as Wanger last year. Gary Barlow meanwhile will be in charge of the boys and Kelly Rowland has been given the girls. That only leaves Tulisa Contostavlos who is left with the challenging task of leading the groups. This may however suit her as her career with N-Dubz may stand her in good stead for the role.

According the Now Magazine, Cheryl got in touch with Tulisa to say how impressed she was with her role on the show. Tulisa achieved fame with her successful pop group N-Dubz but now is focusing on her career within the X Factor.

A source reportedly told Closer, “Cheryl’s furious with Simon for rehashing the details of her sacking. She feels he’s making a fool of her.

Following her time on the show, she will star in Big Fat Gypsy Gangster which will be released straight to DVD and also features The Saturday’s Rochelle Wiseman in the cast. Now it appears she has landed herself a Hollywood role and will star alongside Cameron Diaz and Jennifer Lopez in a new film. The movie will be about pregnancy and is entitled What to Expect When You’re Expecting and will be released in May 2012.

Reports claim that Simon Cowell wants her to perform on both the UK and US shows, and is currently negotiating with her. It is also rumoured that she was asked to appear in the judge’s house part of the show, but was too busy. Cher Lloyd previewed some of her new tracks at a listening party last night, and her collaborative effort (entitled Grow Up) with Busta Rhymes was featured. Gary Barlow had to travel 19 miles from X Factor auditions to his performance at Wembley and the organisers of the X Factor decided they should get him there in a private plane.

Gerasimou went to hit Tulisa after she stopped the music during his performance of Ne-Yo’s Give Me Everything. He exclaimed “You’re just a scumbag from Camden replacing Cheryl on the panel.”

Tulisa responded with “I am really proud of what I have achieved. If you don’t like it, why did you come down today?” Gerasimou then suddenly squared up to Tulisa and had to be restrained by security guards.

The judge was in London for the auditions, and The Mirror has revealed that she told a fan to “shut up” when they interrupted her critiquing a performance by hopeful girl group One Step Beyond. Reports suggest that the audience member shouted “shut up” at the Tulisa, who then responded: “No, you shut up!”

Kelly Rowland, another member of the judging panel, is said by a source to have attempted to calm Tulisa down, but the angry singer replied: “You don’t talk to people like that! It’s unnecessary.”

Tulisa has recently started work as a judge on this year’s X Factor competition, and Cheryl appears to be acting as a mentor for her. Tulisa said, “She’s been lovely. She told me that if I ever do need advice, let her know and she’s here for me so that was really nice of her.”

The concert is in aid of the Great Ormond Street Hospital and the Make A Wish Foundation, and was organised by Heather Emberson, the mother of a 14-year-old son who suffers from mitochondrial deletions Kearns-Sayre Syndrome. This disease causes hearing and eyesight problems and muscle damage which is often focussed around the heart.

The teenager won the Young Person of the Year award at 2010′s Pride of Reading awards, where Johnson met him for the first time.

In 2012, Danyl will join other contestants from the X Factor for the live arena tour, which begins in February.

She will have to do more filming in order to make her replacement by Nicole Scherzinger make more sense to the American audience who may wonder why the Geordie pop star appeared very briefly on the judging panel.

The reports of her unwelcome move back to America come amongst rumours of her getting back together with her ex-husband Ashley Cole. According to the Mirror the move back with Ashley came as she wants to have kids and start a family with the Chelsea and England star.

Previously, the final had been held in a TV studio with a capacity of just 300, but in an effort to make the final more like a full-blown pop concert, the final will move to the 12,500-capacity arena. Fans are sure to be delighted as the show ratchets up a notch, becoming even more thrilling, exhilarating and intense. A larger audience is also likely to result in an even more frenzied atmosphere.

In February, the contestants in this years competition will embark on the X Factor Live 2012 Tour, which coincidentally kicks off in Wembley Arena on February 4th.

According to Louis Walsh, who recently spoke to Cheryl, said she was looking forward to getting back together with the girls instead of rejoining the UK X Factor: ”I’ve been on the phone to Cheryl all day, honestly I can show you texts, she’s fine,” he said. “She’s getting back with Girls Aloud in 2012 and they’re going to tour.”

The Australian judge won last year’s competition with her act Matt Cardle, and has now revealed that she will not return for the latest series of the ITV1 programme due to a schedule clash with her role on Australia’s Got Talent.

She revealed in a statement, “I am so disappointed that I can’t be a part of ‘The X Factor’ this year. I’m going to miss the show and the amazing team who work so incredibly hard on it.

“During discussions for me to return it became clear that unfortunately this year, the X Factor audition dates in the UK clash with the live shows of ‘Australia’s Got Talent’ during June and July. For this reason I am unable to return.”

“I met her recently and she was on great form. And her idea was to be the judge of the judges, which only Mariah could come up with.”

He added: “She’ll be involved in some form. I literally adore her. I love her to bits.”

The 2011 X Factor UK Tour recently came to a close, but will be hitting arenas yet again in early 2012, featuring the stars from this year’s upcoming edition of the popular show.

A source said: “ITV is looking at a range of options to keep Cheryl and Simon. But changing dates would play havoc with ITV’s schedule and the auditions have already begun.”

Meanwhile, last year’s X Factor stars are currently touring UK arenas. X Factor live tickets are currently on sale for shows running until May.

There has been a lot of speculation about when the star will be back on stage in the UK and whether he will team up with his former band mates at Take That. Tixdaq thinks it will be most likely that he will kick off a world tour in Christmas 2010, filling UK stadia in Summer 2011.
