Yeasayer Announce US Tour Dates

Brooklyn band Yeasayer have today announced news of their forthcoming mini-tour of the US. Hitting the road between the 19-24 June, the boys will play a select few dates in the South of the country and finish the jaunt with a trip up to the Osheaga Festival in Montreal, Canada.

It has been two years since the bands last studio LP and fans will be hopeful of some new material coming their way on this one. Yeasayer left a message on their website recently saying; ‘summer 2012 + shows + new songs?‘ – so fans travelling to these shows can be excused for feeling expectant.

Warpaint set for 6 date tour of UK

After a highly successful year which saw their debut album ‘The Fool’ released on Rough Trade Records, Warpaint are currently touring the U.S. with great success. Described as ‘A unique blend of psychedelia, jagged rhythms and gurgling vocals’ their sound is their own, atmospheric and haunting. Those two words describe their best single to date perfectly, ‘undertow’ is an incredibly moving piece of music, it stirs the psyche and makes one recall some of the best music written, dour but not depressing or repressive (think Johnny Cash in a drunken stupor), sublime and thought provoking. Yeasayer tickets on sale for extra tour date

Yeasayer have added an extra date to their October UK tour. The Brooklyn band will now perform at Nottingham Trent Students Union on Friday 22nd, in addition to appearances at Cardiff Millennium Music Hall, Manchester Academy, London’s Roundhouse, Newcastle O2 Academy and Glagow’s O2 ABC.

The band recently released their second studio album, Odd Blood, and are confirmed to perform at Reading and Leeds Festivals in August.

Yeasayer tickets for all tour dates are on sale now from ticket vendors such as Gigantic and Seetickets, with prices starting at £12.

Reading Festival day tickets falling in price

Reading Festival tickets for Friday 27th August can now be bought on the secondary ticket market for as little as £80 each. Websites such as Seatwave and Viagogo are currently listing a total of 65 Friday tickets under £1oo each.

Guns N’ Roses will headline the main stage at Reading Festival on Friday 27th August and will be supported by Queens of the Stone Age, Biffy Clyro, Lostprophets, NoFX, Gogol Bordello, Billy Talent, A Day to Remember and Young Guns.

The NME/Radio 1 stage will see appearances from Phoenix, Mumford & Sons, Delphic, Yeasayer, The Big Pink and Two Door Cinema Club.

Reading Festival weekend tickets are currently trading from £227 to £1000.

Yeasayer announce October UK tour

Popular Brooklyn band Yeasayer have announced a five-date UK tour to take place this October, following the success of their latest album, Odd Blood.

The band are set to provide UK fans with performances at Cardiff Millennium Music Hall, Newcastle Academy, Manchester Academy, Glasgow ABC and London’s Roundhouse.

Yeasayer tickets are also available for festival appearances at both Reading and Leeds this summer.

Yeasayer tickets for their October tour are set to go on sale this Friday (May 14th) at 9am and will be available to compare and buy here at Tixdaq.com. Yeasayer tickets for their July UK appearances and one-off show at London’s KOKO on the 26th May, with prices starting at £30.

A host of names were announced to perform at this year’s Reading and Leeds festivals as tickets went on sale yesterday evening. Rumours came to life as Blink 182, Arcade Fire and Guns ‘N’ Roses were confirmed as headliners, and The Libertines, Biffy Clyro and Paramore were also confirmed.

Yeasayer touring new album Odd Blood

New York band Yeasayer are currently on a UK tour of their new album Odd Blood, which looks to catapult them into the mainstream with more a more pop-orientated sound on songs such as recent iTunes single of the week O.N.E., Rome and Mondegreen. They play The KlaSocial in Bristol on Thursday 25th February, followed a date at Brighton’s Digital with a gig at London Koko in Camden in May. Support for the Bristol and Brighton gigs will be provided by Rhode Island band Javelin, who are making waves of their own in the music world. A supporting act for the Koko gig will be announced in due course.

Yeasayer plan UK dates

Yeasayer have announced details of a UK tour. The tour kicks off on February 16 in Birmingham and draws to a close on February 26 in Brighton.

The eight date Yeasayer tour also includes live performances in Glasgow, Manchester, London and Bristol.

The tour will follow the release of the eagerly anticipated second album which is titled ‘Odd Blood’. The follow-up to their debut album is due to be released on Febryary 8.

Yeasayer will play the following dates in the UK:

February 20 – Belfast Speakeasy

NME Announce Awards Show Tour

NME have announced that New Young Pony Club, Hadouken!, Simian Mobile Disco, Miike Snow, Girls and Yeasayer will headline concerts during this year’s NME Awards Show tour.

Miike Snow kick off the series of concerts at London’s Scala on February 2.
