Lady GaGa tickets are available from £50 for her performance at London’s O2 Arena on Thursday 16th December 2010. The tickets are available from ticketing website Gigantic, and are for a limited number of seats located in the upper tier of the arena.

Standing tickets are currently trading from £85 whilst the cheapest lower tier seats are priced at £99.

Lady GaGa performed the first of three shows at New York’s Madison Square Garden last night, and took the time to pay tribute to acts she had seen perform live in the venue before hitting the big time herself. The singer took time out of her set in order to give special mention to Madonna, The Rolling Stones, Elton John and KISS.

“My name is Lady Gaga and I used to sit right over there, way far in the back and way up top,” she said during the performance. “I used to stare at this side of the room, and I used to think, ‘I’m gonna be up there’. Every second you watch me on this stage, you remember, I was sitting where you are.”

Lady GaGa put on her usual extravagant show for the sell-out crowd, performing hits from her album The Fame Monster as well as going through numerous set and costume changes.

After her three night residency at the prestigious New York venue, Lady GaGa will continue to appear at venues across North America, before bringing her Monster Ball tour back to the UK at the end of the year.

Lady GaGa being sued by music producer

It has been revealed that Lady GaGa is being sued by the man that claims to have co-written her songs, created her stage name and helped her get a record deal. Rob Fusari has filed a £23 million lawsuit against the Grammy Award-winning singer, claiming he is owed a 20% share of her earnings.

Fusari says he introduced Lady Gaga to a record executive, ultimately leading her to Interscope Records, which released The Fame in 2008. The album has sold more than three million copies in the United States and Fusari is credited as a producer.

The director of Lady GaGa’s newest video has compared the singer to pop legend Madonna. Jonas Akerlund was behind the Telephone video which sees Lady GaGa team up with Beyoncé, and the comparison comes after having previously worked with Madonna on videos such as Ray of Light and Music.

Speaking to MTV, Akerlund compared Lady GaGa’s “hard-work” to that of Madonna’s and stated that “GaGa has all the potential and all the tools and all the brain to take her creativity as far she wants to.”

Simon Cowell reportedly wants Lady Gaga to appear as a judge on the US X Factor. The Sun reported that a source close to Cowell said: ‘Simon thinks Lady Gaga is great and really likes her energy.’

The reports are yet to be confirmed but no-one would bet against the quirky American star appearing on the show, given her ability to surprise and delight fans: back in December, she guest performed on the X Factor in a bathtub.

Lady Gaga has been celebrated by music lovers yet again, this time at the People’s Choice Awards in Los Angeles. She picked the awards of ‘best pop artist’ and ‘best breakout artist’ at the annual popular culture bash.

Lady GaGa lands first number one of 2010

Lady GaGa has landed the first UK singles chart number one of the decade, gathering even more interest in her forthcoming Monster Ball tour. Her single ‘Bad Romance’ took the top spot for the second time in recent weeks, after first hitting the summit on December 13. Lady GaGa beat off competition from X Factor winnner Joe McElderry with ‘The Climb’ as well as the 2009 Christmas Number One ‘Killing in the Name’ by Rage Against the Machine.

Fans old and new will be pleased to hear that tickets are still available for Lady GaGa’s UK tour which starts in February. With her 2009 release ‘Poker Face’ also crowned as the best-selling single of 2009 by the Official UK Charts Company, interest in the tour is at fever pitch and tickets are likely to be sold out very soon. Lady Gaga set for X Factor performance

It has recently been confirmed that Lady Gaga will perform live on Sunday’s (November 29) episode of the X Factor. The Pokerface singer will sing live on the results show as the remaining X Factor contestants fight to stay in the competition. Lady Gaga is also set to perform at the 2009 Royal Variety Performance which takes place at the Blackpool Opera House the following day (November 30).

Lady Gaga is currently in UK promoting her new album, The Fame Monster, and it has been revealed that she will sing the forthcoming single ‘Bad Romance’ in front of the X Factor crowd and judges.

It has also been confirmed that Janet Jackson will perform live on the show.

Past artists to have performed on the X Factor so far this year include Whitney Houston, Robbie Williams, Westlife and Bon Jovi. There are currently rumours circulating that Paul McCartney is in talks about performing live at the final of this year’s X Factor.
