The Streets is the stage name of rapper Mike Skinner. Skinner is from Birmingham, UK. His debut album "Original Pirate Material" made it into the UK top 10, but his real breakthrough came with his second album "A Grand Don't Come For Free". The singles "Fit But You Know It" and "Dry Your Eyes", the latter debuting at number 1, and the highest ranking single to date.
The Streets will be performing across the country in February and March, with UK tour dates in 2011 in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Bristol, Lincoln, Brighton, Liverpool, Oxford, Leeds, Birmingham, Nottingham, Norwich, Newcastle and London.
